I'm flabbergasted by all the good reviews and am thinking these reviewers might not know what chicken wild rice soup should taste like. This soup tastes like southern gravy with rice in it. If you like gravy and biscuits, you'll love this. But real Minnesota wild rice soup is a completely different taste and appearance, much whiter — more cream, no gravy. We couldn't even eat the second container. We like Sam's club soups and wish there were many more, but this one needs a recipe revamp.

I tried this soup in the club and I was hooked! It's like a homemade soup recipe, like a bowl full of comfort! They sampled it with some shredded cheese and a piece of sourdough toast and I had to recreate it at home for my family and they liked it, too!

I love Chicken and Wild Rice soup so I was excited to give it a try. It was the SO SALTY that I could hardly eat it. I thinned it down with milk or sour cream but it did not help much. I can't believe that most people said it tasted great. I guess I got some from a bad batch because I did see one other review that also mentioned it was too salty.

After reading all the positive reviews I decided to give this a try, however to my shock I'm pretty sure this has been mislabeled. After heating it on the stove I hoped the way that it tasted was going to be better than the way it smelled plus it was super thick not creamy like the normal consistency of a soup. My 1st bite I knew almost immediately this had to be labeled wrong, I believe this is dog food. It looks and smells funky and the way it tasted there's just no way I could take more than 1 bite without projectile vomiting. I gave it to my dogs and they gobbled it up. It's not edible for me. Not sure on these reviews %26 their legitimacy.

The box says 6 servings in a container. When I eat this soup, I get a hearty tavern bowl with a wooden spoon and eat the whole thing. I feel like a wary traveler coming in from the bone chilling winter, and the only relief is a good bowl of THIS soup. It's giving wholesome, it's giving creamy, it's giving this-is-the-best-chicken-and-rice-soup-you-will-find-on-this-long-journey. Too soon, my bowl is finished and I grieve the sense of hope, revelation, and possibility I experienced just minutes before when starting my meal. I love this soup. TLDR: buy it now. But not too many because I'll need some more

Disappointing flavor and poor chicken quality. I had high expectations for this soup and it missed across the board. The flavor is flat and bland with no depth, and nothing stands out. The wild rice loses its texture and breaks down into a mushy consistency, so it no longer feels like a rice based soup. The biggest issue is the chicken quality. Both containers contained multiple pieces of gristle and cartilage, and the texture was unpleasant enough that I stopped eating mid bowl. This happened with one bowl from each container. Overall, the soup feels low quality and rushed, and I will not purchase it again.

Great flavor! You have to make sure you cook as directed or the rice will be hard. I added water to mine because of the thick consistency. One of the better store bought soups we've eaten.

Love this soup! It’s my favorite but can’t find it anywhere!!! Bring it back!!

This has hardly any chicken in it and is very mushroom heavy. There is a strong, earthy mushroom flavor as well. It doesn't taste like chicken wild rice soup to me, and I'm surprised at all the rave reviews.

I love everything about this soup. It pairs great with the artisan cibatta bread. I cant wait to buy again. The soup is perfectly flavorful. I can eat it everyday
