[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having wore high end HA for 20+ years I decided to try these Lexi Bose after a pet had lunch with one of my Oticons. The app is okay but the fitting test is not great; you can adjust bass and treble but no equalizer fine tuning. You do have individual left and right volume if needed. I really can’t tell the difference between the different modes for indoor/outdoor and the feed back circuitry is not as good as higher end products. Considering I have poor hearing, these hearing aids do seem to work fairly well. These are a good buy and I would recommend them. If you’ve never worn a HA you will be pleased with these.

I have found the hearing aids to be helpful, but still have trouble with understanding specific words at times. The clarity, not the volume, is the problem. That being said, my friends who use hearing aids, some who paid 4 or 5 thousand dollars, have the same issue, so I am satisfied that these are just as good as theirs. I do notice a raspy sound that I don't like, for example, when I tuck my hair behind my ear, or walk on an uncarpeted floor. And other sounds, like the crumpling of something like a potato chip bag, are unpleasantly loud and crackly.

I kept putting off getting hearing aides because they are so expensive and my insurance doesn’t cover them. Once the audiologist mentioned many of her clients used them and the high quality, I looked into them. I’m so glad I did. They are not super expensive and What a difference they have made. The phone support was wonderful helping me set my hearing aides up . They are really comfortable to wear. My ear canal felt a little itchy at first but that’s the only transition I experienced. I love the phone app to adjust the volume and select specific preset volumes. The only thing I do not presently use is the Bluetooth cell phone calling that allows you to hear your phone calls through your hearing aides, which I turned off. Every time my cell phone rang in my ear it made me jump! It is nice to have that option though. These hearing aides are a blessing . My husband doesn’t need to listen to the tv volume turned up too loud for him any longer and I don’t need to keep asking my family to repeat what they’ve said to me! A win win! I am so happy with them and they really are not noticeable! I can hear everything now! A blessing

The information is written so that I understand costs, expectations, limitations, and how to work with set up the hearing aids, as well as the app to control the aids with my iphone. The contact that I have had with those answering on the phone has been positive, then stick to the issue to make sure that I understand exactly what to expect and how to proceed correctly, I'm in the process of educating myself on almost a daily basis as I am learning how to adjust, set up, and improve my hearning.

I got my first prescription hearing aids in March 2019, but when they recently gave out, I decided to try the over-the-counter Lexie B2 Plus. I picked this model because of Bose’s solid reputation and my good experiences with their products. So far, during the trial period, I’m impressed—the Lexie is just as good, if not better, than my old pair. I did have some trouble streaming phone calls at first, but Lexie Support helped me sort it out. That said, the Bluetooth connection drops a lot on my new Android phone. Despite that, I’m keeping them and highly recommend them!
