This set is absolutely gorgeous, and I love that it came with both green and pink options. I personally like the pink one much more, but the green one is cute as well. I also appreciated that the instruction booklet had different ideas for different ways you could decorate the tree, without the pieces that come with the set.

I got a lot of fun building this set, it was so relaxing. I like the aspect of the bonsaï tree, it look so real. I love almost the different flowers/leafs to switch, to fallow the season. I also add some LED light to be a "pièce of résistance" when I open the light at night.

A very fun build that took just around 4 casual hours. Beautifully designed and it looks fantastic on my mantle between my collection of sake bottles. The leaves are, by far, the most time consuming part and a little bit tedious, but the end result is well worth it.

This is a beautiful take on a Bonsai Tree. It was fun for my 12 year old son to build and it has neat features like the adjustable leaves on the branches and the pink option to interchange depending on your preference. The pamphlet also gives picture ideas for alternative options, so you can use other sets to make your own personal tree. Great gift idea!

I’m 24 and this was my first Lego set. It’s so beautiful and so straight forward to build. My absolute favorite part of this set is the fact that the cherry blossoms are pink frogs. This is now in my window with all my real plants. I hope they make more of these types of sets!

Building this took me way longer than it needed to mainly due to how fragile the design is. After getting close to the end multiple times, the trunk would fall apart and it would set me back another 10 minutes. However, after finally finishing it, I am very happy with the way it looks.

I would highly recommend people who love plants getting this set or people who just think it's cool looking. It has a very sturdy design. The designer should be very proud of themselves. There is also room for you to be creative and may be break out the old Lego bricks you have sitting around to be able to customize this tree even further and make it your own.

I got this set for my birthday and I was really excited to build it. I was originally wanting to do the green leaves by themselves for it to look more woodsy and natural but when I built it with just the green leaves it looked horrible compared to the picture on the box! I have a bunch of Lego sets and I’ve never had an issue with one except for this one. I really just wish it looked great and more dense with just the green leaves. I just wish you got the same amount of pieces for the green leaves like you do with the blossom leaves. I just felt like I had no other choice but to use the blossoms to make it look better. Now I understand that you can mix and match the pieces and I love the creativity in that but I’m the type of person to where I would want it one way or the other. I’m just not happy with the set it was fun to build and a nice display with the blossoms but just not enough density with the green leaves. I was genuinely disappointed.

This is one of those gateway sets that will make people stop and go "wait, that's LEGO?!" It's a truly lovely little display set that still manages to pack in some clever, interesting, and engaging build techniques. I can't say it was my favorite build - I have never been, and will never be, a huge fan of the repetitive nature of Lego foliage - but using so many little frogs was amusing if nothing else.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was very fun to put together this set. At the beginning I thought it would be more difficult as it is 18 plus but my 6 year old son helped me. It took me about 2 days to fold. Putting it together is very good for stress relief. The tree has 2 options to choose from green or light. I chose the brighter options because I liked the flowers and the toys on the tree. I highly recommend. Now the folded one stands on my shelf so that everyone can admire it.
