Absolutely a great lego set. I recently purchased this set for decoration as I used to have bonsai and now I have cats that would get sick for eating bonsai trees. This is a nice substitute it also provides you time to focus, I have to say adult lego is a good way to escape the stress of normal day life and unwind for the day- for sure recommend. I purchased a cover for it to keep the cats away and dust off, the cover came with the lights.

Walmart has some really great sales on LEGO products and I grabbed this set for $40 on sale. For a set with a high piece count, it was a solid deal, as legos have become insanely expensive. The set is gorgeous! It has green leaves and flower foliage that can be switched onto the bonsai whenever you desire. The tree itself looks extremely realistic, and I love the potted base and “wood” stand. Great set! Super fun build! Grab it when it goes on sale again.

I got this set for my daughter's Christmas gift and she loved it, she is a big LEGO fan and each year or when we have the extra we try to get her a bigger set! This build was done in I think 2 days but she loved it and it now sits in her room! The instructions booklets that comes with it she never really has any problems reading it and the little frogs on the tree is so stinking cute🐸 Again we love LEGO and it definitely keeps her mind busy and it calms her down! I also wanted to add that you can chose to pick between the pink or the green leaves but she choose the pink.

My daughter absolutely loved this Lego set. She and her friend put it together very easily, time consuming, but easy. she actually added another Lego set on the bridge portion. She had the pink car Lego's that she thinks looks amazing with it! It really is a great combo!

Fun to put together. I love that the bonsai has a stand and that you can have it with regular leaves or cherry blossoms. Super cute but not too childish looking. Could be a cute and different piece of decor. It was fun to put together.

My 17 year old daughter was never really into Legos until the botanicals were released. I got her this for Christmas and she immediately put it together and had a great time doing it.

From an adult perspective, you get an amazing set. I am displaying this set in my living room. Looks real, no watering needed, looks real and requires no upkeep.

I honestly love it because I love cherry blossoms but it would've been amazing if the instructions were virtual and interactive so it could be easier to build.

Very fun set to do, not too complicated but not too simple to be boring. I was able to successfully complete it in an hourish while watching a documentary. The disappointing thing for me, was some of the steps were a bit tricky to follow without seeing things at the right angle; all of the other botanicals I've done had the LEGO Builder app instructions, which allow you to turn and rotate the directions, and this one didn't, which I found strange given how the steps were laid out. That's the only reason I gave Assembly a 4; it wouldn't been a 5 with the app integration. The only other frustration I had was some of the pieces, while ingenuous in their construction and usage (using old frog pieces painted pink as the blossoms was genius and looks good!), some of the more unusual combinations of pieces to get the desired effect weren't as "locked in" as many pieces can be, and would snap off if adjusted too much. Notably the individual branches that attach to the main "trunk" would fall off while I tried to adjust the smaller branches with the leaves themselves multiple times. As someone with a slight hand tremor, I expect this from most sets, but this was more frequent than I typically experience. So I would recommend considering that if you're buying this for yourself or someone else with a hand tremor or unsteady hands or grip. Otherwise though, a very enjoyable building experience and makes for a beautiful presentation piece. I got this and a cheap floating shelf and it looks great in my office!

easy to build but dont like all the extra pieces as I have no where to store them now, Was able to build within 3 hours. Built with 5 year old and it was alittle too easy and repetitive. No crazy parts or crazy structure. I would say it quite plain
