Awesome build! Only took around 2.5 hours and looks amazing! Mess with it everyday changing the leaves around. Would definitely recommend to anybody

Bought for xmas gift and the product was great . The packaging was water damage and send from store like that.

My gf and myself enjoyed putting this together on Christmas Eve. Took us about 2 hours. Pretty simple build with great directions

This build is not very stable. We have had to rebuild it multiple times. It is very cute though. We might try the mini bonsai set instead.

For the price it is, it really is worth it. Takes a decent amount of time but it's very fun to build. I felt I got my moneys worth.

Holy pink frogs, batman! I was stoked about this build through the first three bags. Everything up to that point was very interesting and creative. Bags 4 - 6 were somewhat tedious/repetitive and I'm not particularly fond of the design of the branches/leaves/blossoms. Worst part is, I was previously familiar with the "frog" piece used as a "blossom" in this set and I'm having a hard time unseeing it. As it stands, it looks like a pink frog infestation has overtaken my zen garden. The humanity! It makes me wonder if this piece was grossly overrun (and in the wrong color) during production of a previous set and the Ideas project was an internal competition to figure out how to use up 3M pink frog pieces. I hope they used them all up on this project so we don't see this fauna masquerading as flora in future sets. Great idea, execution was a little underwhelming.

This is an attractive item, and I don't mind the frogs (though I did just order a bunch more of the little pink flowers to switch some out). My only issue was the instructions. It's really hard to see brown bricks on brown bricks and took way too much effort to figure it out.

What a treat! Lego never ceases to suprise me with their innovative designs. This build was quicker than i anticipated, the size is lovely, and it displays so beautifully. Changing from the green to pink is very easy and the design allows for quick swap. This definitely sets the bar for Lego's future sets that might have swappable features. I dont think it will be going back in the box anytime soon!

Very happy and excited for this collection, we look forward to many more. Only problem was this particular one is that the design team didn't think to put a compartment under the build for the extra pieces. The bouquet was missing a vase that they righted in the birds of paradise build coming soon, so we hope this will be thought out for future versions. Or in hindsight, it'd be nice if they came up with a clear vase and a clip on drawer that matches the bonsai pot.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As an adult I've never really played with Legos which is really weird because I work with children but when I saw and was made aware of that they actually have a collection for adults I was intrigued and of course the bonsai tree is absolutely gorgeous there was a couple of times I got kind of frustrated but I have very little patience to begin with but this was very fun to play with it was fun to put together the instructions were very very well written out and the end result is stunning
