Ruta Maya Organic Medium Roast Coffee, Whole Bean 2.2 lbs

I always buy this coffee at Sam’s. Although it’s not expired, sometimes it’s very fresh/oily, and other times it’s quite dry.

Freshness inconsistent

Great coffee! Tastes fresh. Have been buying it for 8 months now & enjoy it very much.  Guests always ask what brand it is!

Good coffee

I’m not sure if I got a bad batch or what, but this coffee is incredibly weak. I put the same amount than I normally would in my coffee maker and it came out looking more like black tea that had been steeped for a minute or so. Very thin and watery. I’ve ended up doubling the amount of grinds that I use for other brands and that has helped it resemble coffee a little more. But I still can’t strongly taste it.  And I’ve tried changing my grind size, coffee brewing setting, every thing. Again, not sure if it’s a bad batch because others seem to like it but I probably won’t be purchasing again! Good thing is I’m going through the bag crazy fast because of all the beans I need for one pot, lol.

Really Weak

Best coffee I've come across in a while! Been ordering for the last 4 years and absolutely love it. I find that grinding the beans yourself provides the best flavor but Ive had this brands ground coffee too and the flavor is still great. 10/10 from this coffee lover!
