[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought the lrmds3006s 6 months ago the craft ice maker did not work. Finally called for repair. A new ice maker was installed last week. It seems to be working. Would never recommend the craft ice maker. Would much prefer a cube ice maker. Very poor design.

I've only owned this refrigerator for about six weeks, but its features make it the best one I've ever owned (and I have experience with at least ten different makes/models). The doors and drawers make it so convenient to get at everything with ease. I really LOVE the craft ice, and the regular ice is smaller and nicer than any other ice maker I've had. The total price is pretty high, so I hope this unit lasts a long, long time!

We love this refrigerator. Our only problem was the craft icemaker quit about eleven months after we bought it. The machine sounded like it was going to destroy itself trying to function. Trying to connect to the IQ feature was an ordeal. It wouldn't accept our wifi as an acceptable means of communicating. Scanning the QR code was not much better but, finally got it to connect. After resetting the fridge the icemaker seems to be working now. But, it's only been a day. hopefully it's a long term fix

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When my wife and I decided on LG, after hearing that LG was one of the best refrigerators and had the best repair history, we selected the LRMD3006SS that had both the door ice maker and craft ice. Best investment ever! This refrigerator has tremendous volume for food and drinks, in addition to expansion for frozen foods from a programmable drawer that can do either frozen or cold products. But best of all is the craft ice. At first I thought this added feature would just be a novelty, but after using the balls of ice, my wife and I discovered that one ball of ice would keep your drink cold for a much longer time and not have them become as watered down, and now this is the preferred type of ice we use for all of our drinks. We love this refrigerator and LG had become our most trusted appliance brand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this refrigerator for about a month, everything is working just fine. I moved from a side/side to this french door type, overall I'm extremely happy with the purchase. Looks good, works great and the double front door (which I thought I'd never use) is a fabulous addition that I use all the time. Things to consider 1. Rethink how and what you store inside the refrigerator. The distance is short between shelves, while they do move up and down a little, it doesn't make much sense to off-set them or move them down, it would make one level virtually unusable. HOWEVER, if you think about how you store things and your purchases, you can adapt to the shorter space. 2. The ice makers are S L O W to make ice, while it's been able to keep up with my family of four, the ice bins are never full and it takes a long time to make a batch of ice. The craft ice is a nice addition, we love the idea of the round ice and it will come in handy during parties but it's slow to produce ice. Again, it hasn't been a show stopper for us, it's been able to keep up with our family 3. The lighting is positioned perfectly, it's bright and you can see everything inside the refrigerator, even the things in the far back, open the door and it's like someone turned on a floodlight. 4. The small drawer is very flexible, some models only cool but this one can be a freezer as well. Right now we have things in there for quick meals or snacks, the four temperature positions make it really convenient for flexible storage options. 5. The main freezer, well it's huge, there's more storage in there than we'll use but it's nice to have ample room to freeze things. 6. This refrigerator is BIG, make sure you measure it fully before you purchase. I have a closed floor plan and it took us two tries to get it into the kitchen. The website states 31" with the doors off but we needed to pull the drawers out and remove the hinges to make it past any door opening. We purchased with installation so the installation team, while not real happy, were able to get it into the kitchen without much of an issue. Overall, I'm extremely happy with the purchase, it looks great in my kitchen, and once we understood our storage plan it works out nicely. The third front door I thought was useless actually turns out to be useful, we store items that we go to the refrigerator a lot for, and having just to open the small door really works out well. If it wasn't how slow it makes ice it would have received a 5-star rating but ice is important for us when we have parties. Everything else, the design, functionality, ease of use, WiFi all get five stars from me. Extremely happy with my purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced our older LG refrigerator with a new one - decided on a 30 sq ft refrigerator with the converter drawer ( ability to select using it as extra freezer or refrigerator space) Also liked the craft ice maker which makes large round ice balls - perfect for Manhattans on a big rock! So far, we love the refrigerator.

I love the design of the fridge - which is why we finally settled on this one after comparing numerous other brands. It is one of the larger cubic ft, has door-in-door feature, and makes craft ice (3rd ice option from the typical crushed/cubed on door). However, after 2wks of use, the drinking water on the door continued to come out warm. When I called, they said because of the small reservoir it doesn't get cold. Something I wish I knew prior to purchase! Also, the lip on the fridge door doesn't always fold out flush when closing. 2 things I'm having to reconsider as I don't think I can live with these issues!

It has a lot of space, which I love, but the shelves are a little to close together so I can't set my bottle water, milk or drinks in an upright position, I have to lay them down. Otherwise, it is a great refrigerator, a little pricey though. LG thank my daughter for convincing me to buy.

We decided that if we’re buying a new fridge we might as well go big! Tons of space, like the 3 ice option especially the craft ice or as I like to call them bourbon balls. Love the flex drawer we currently use it for drinks. Only downside is that the separators move and drinks do not stay in place. Large freezer space as well. Overall we are extremely happy with our purchase.

The up top ice maker works great and we like the smaller ice cubes it makes. We also like the craft ice maker ice balls when it is working. The original failed about 9 months after we bought the refrigerator. The replacement lasted only another 5 months, which put us 2 months out of warranty. LG was gracious enough to recognize the problem was on their end and replaced the craft ice maker a second time for me under warranty. Given this devices track record we should have craft ice through the holidays but I am keeping my fingers crossed after that. I gave this refrigerator 4 out of 5 stars due to the craft ice maker. Otherwise it would have been a 5 star rating.
