This refrigerator and freezer is enormous. Both compartments can store a lot of food. If you do not like to go shopping often, you can stock up on supplies and store them in this LG unit. The unit does not make noise which is another plus. The shelves in the fridge and freezer are nice and wide.

The first one we had some trouble with the mother board, but after getting an upgraded version, we no more trouble. Love the room in this new refrigerator and the craft ice maker. Freezers went out, front dispenser leaks, whole unit shut down in mid Oct. Like the refrigerator, so surprised it does not work very well. Have heard an LG is no longer a reliable appliance. Ours is still not fixed. FF E error came on again yesterday.

I was lucky enough to have my last refrigerator for 20+ years and it was finally time to get something new. I have never had an appliance with so many great features and it changed my idea of what an appliance should be. First, there is so much room with this configuration. It fits my needs to a tee. Second, the water in my community is very heavy so the built in filter helped me get rid of my Brita. I didnʻt realize how much better ice tastes now. I love the double tab light feature that save me time openning the door to look for things and the door-in-the-door feature is ideal for those grab and go moments. So smart! Finally my wife loves the craft ice. Its perfect for her! And, again so much freezer space to work with... amazing. We loved our old frig but you donʻt know what you donʻt know and now I am sold on our new best friend in the kitchen. Great Job LG.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have only had this refrigerator a few months and the compressor went out. We lost food. The service technician came out and replaced the compressor. The refrigerator worked for about a day and then the compressor kicked off. We lost food again. Another service guy came out and said that the compressor had moisture in it. He cleaned it and it is currently working. I'm afraid it will stop working again and leak water on the floor for the 3rd time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the size of this refrigerator! We can finally fit everything easily after a grocery trip for our family of growing teens. I also like the middle drawer for frequently used items and snacks. I've found that produce lasts much longer than in my previous refrigerators. I'm glad it has the craft ice because the door ice maker often doesn't keep up with our demand. We have had some issues with the freezer & door ice maker spontaneously defrosting but it's under warranty and the service company is addressing the issue. I would wish for a little more flexibility with the tall item storage space, but it's working out as is.

I recently had a service call on my refrigerator my compressor failed took took a few days or parts to come, The repair man was very knowledgeable and did a good job they fix the refrigerator and said he had to reset program, now my lower icemaker is not working. I’m not sure if he may have missed something in the programming or somehow turn off my lower icemaker ? Otherwise I love my refrigerator it is great, My son just bought a washer and dryer , and he is also very happy with the LG products !

One surprise is we did not expect to use the craft ice. But we have found that dropping two balls into a water bottle does not block a straw and keeps the water cool all day.

It’s the best thing we’ve ever bought. We love that we can check the temperature on an app when traveling. We love that it makes craft ice too!
