Good but misleading

This is my third shark and I really like this vacuum, but I am really upset because I thought the canister came off like my other two, to vacuum the steps. I even did research on this and did not realize that shark even had a vacuum without a detachable canister. I also feel like the pictures are misleading because she looks like she is vacuuming the steps with just the canister. Such a bummer because that was one of my main reasons for sticking with shark. So far, it vacuums very well and I have a long-haired cat and a dog. But really bummed that I didn’t get what I was expecting.

We&#39;re glad to hear that your Rotator is performing well with pet hair, but we&#39;re disappointed to hear it wasn&#39;t what you expected for above-floor cleaning. The Rotator allows you to detach the handle or the handle with the extension wand for cleaning stairs and other above-floor areas. To do this, press the release button on the back of the handle to remove the handle, or press the Wand Release button to remove the wand from the pod. However, unlike our Lift-Away models, the entire pod does not detach from the floor nozzle. This is okay, but it is not easy vacuuming on carpet. It is nice on hardwood floors but carpet seems a little "stiff". Not a fan of this.
