I may never get out of this chair. I was shopping at Sam's and saw this chair on display, and decided to try it out - and sank back into bliss. From the getgo, I was struck by how solid and sturdy it is, yet it cradles you like a baby. I stalked it online and then - oh! - it went half-price, so I decided to buy two, for me and my husband. There are a few things you should know. This is a massive chair, so make sure you have room for it. It comes packed in a huge box and requires assembly, with each piece bubble wrapped and the giant cushion rolled up and wrapped as well. You will have a large amount of cardboard packing materials and bubble wrap to discard and recycle. I don't say this as a negative - it's packed more securely than anything I've ever seen. Just allow yourself plenty of time to cut through all of these things and unwrap the beautiful wood and let the cushion relax. Unwrapping and assembling everything took me about three hours. I'm a smaller female of average strength, and actually the unpacking and unwrapping took me quite awhile. The wood pieces and supporting straps are put together with 14 bolts and washers, and the required allen wrench is provided. The pieces are clearly numbered and the written instructions are the clearest I've seen in a long time. Everything fits neatly together and feels strong and secure. The wood is heavy and very beautiful, kind of an ashy oak. The hardest part of the whole exercise is putting the cover on the cushion - this is a bit of a wrestling match, because the big, dense cushion and the thick, woven cover are a snug fit. The cushion is very heavy and the lovely cover isn't stretchy, so it just takes time and patience to gradually work it up and zip the end closed. Putting the cushion onto the frame is also best a two-person job, although I am stubborn and finally got it in place by myself. So, you will get a bit of a workout putting this thing together, and then you have a huge amount of packing materials to dispose of and recycle. - BUT - It is worth every bit of effort. This chair is gorgeous and solid and beyond delicious to sit in. Oh, it is heavenly. It is like your own personal cocoon. It is great for conversion, for reading, for TV, for napping. My husband and I sat in them last evening and were both thrilled. I can even fold up my legs Indian-style in front of me in the chair, it's so roomy. I will say that my husband has one complaint. He is a larger man and has a little trouble getting back out of the chair, because you do sink down in it. He decided the easiest thing was to kind of roll off the side onto all fours and get up that way. He says it is worth it. So I would buy this again, a hundred times over, and highly recommend it. It's so well-made that I believe it will last a long time. I intend to flip the cushion every week or so to keep it fluffy inside, and I'm using throws over it to protect the cover. You need this chair.

I stalked this chair for such a long time. When I finally purchased it, I was beyond thrilled and had just the right spot for it in my music/office/self care room. I thought my biggest concern once it arrived would be its size so I was golden. I had taken care of that. But after a full week with the chair, I am struggling with the pillow seat. It’s too firm, lumpy, and sags. I’m so uncomfortable most of the time sitting in this chair which is the exact opposite of how I felt when trying it in store. So I assumed “breaking it in“ by spending as much time as I could in it this week might help. We’re not there yet. The stock pit shows an L shape on the base. Mine is lying pretty flat. I don’t know what to do so I’ll be taking the chair apart again and readjusting the straps underneath in hopes that will give me the “cloud”. .

Best chairs I have ever bought.

The chair literally sits on the ground and is hard to get out of. The straps that hold the cushion are too long.

Box was undamaged so inside parts were cracked in several places. Started to seek remedy and told parts in back order for over a month. No ETA in sight. This was a third party Sam’s hired to mitigate problems BTW. Ended up calling Sam’s cust service to see how to get refund since the large quantity of shipping material had long been recycled. Would not do again.

Purchased to use as a large chair for my wife to lounge in while reading and working on her laptop. My wife says that it is very comfortable, and she is very happy with it. She is currently looking for a small side table to go with it. The frame is in 3 pieces (left side, right side, and bottom), which are bolted together with 15 large bolts. It was easy for one person to put together, and it is very sturdy. With delivery, the price was approximately $250. At that price, this is a good deal.

The chair is extremely comfortable and looks good in the space. It is oversized, so be sure to measure the location and be aware of its size. DELIVERY wasn't ideal. Received a notification from that delivery was scheduled on a certain date/time and required adult signature. They were 2 hours late and when I called they indicated it would not arrive until 5 (local time) and the agent for the delivery company indicated that Sams Club set up the appointment without their input or confirmation (known issue they are working on with Sams Club). The delivery driver unloaded the chair on a pallet and then refused to take the pallet. When I called Sams club the first time (40 minute wait time), was disconnected after speaking to an agent to explain the situation. Called back (52 minute wait time) and was told there was nothing they could do because the product included the pallet - which isn't the case. The box was exclusive of a pallet - they just used it to unload with a skid loader. Please be advised that you may have the same experience. Lots of debris to dispose of and included a full industrial sized pallet. Almost considered returning the product. Ended up having to pay our trash disposal company an additional $75 for large pickup.

What a very comfortable seat. I enjoyed it as I sat in it for a while. Pretty strong and wonderful material and worth every moment that I was able to sit in it.

This is such a cool and unique chair! It is comfy to sit in and to lounge in. It would be comfortable to have a footrest or ottoman pulled up to it to rest your feet on.

This lounge chair is what play or bonus room dreams are made of. It is so incredibly comfortable and plush. It's the perfect reading nook chair, gaming chair, lounge chair. I'm obsessed with it. It also looks really cool and modern!
