Overall happy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The picture on this TV is great. Absolutely no complaints on the picture quality. We are somewhat disappointed in the sound. The sound is clear but difficult to adjust to a suitable volume. One minute we can't hear conversions on show and the next background sounds are blowing us away.

I have to reboot the tv

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are times when I have to reboot the tv (unplug from power for 15 seconds) because youtube tv won't load at all. This does not happen on other tv's in the home, only this Samsung. Otherwise, the picture and sound is great.

Disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Longtime Samsung supporter have purchased nothing but Samsung throughout the years. This particular device has really poor resolution and seems really dark to the point of a blackout screen. I have adjusted to different modes but same result. Compared to the other 2 Samsung TV I currently have this one is is disappointing.

Hi Lonnie, Thank you for your feedback on the Samsung U8000F TV. If the picture appears unclear, dull, or lacks definition, there are several settings you can adjust to improve clarity and overall image quality. Go to: Settings > All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings, and review these key settings: Picture Clarity Settings: While originally intended for motion handling, these can also impact overall clarity • Off: Disables motion enhancements • Auto: Automatically adjusts based on content • Custom: Lets you fine-tune: o Judder Reduction – Helps smooth out uneven motion o LED Clear Motion – Boosts sharpness in fast-moving content o Noise Reduction – Reduces distortion and enhances detail in lower-resolution sources Core Picture Settings • Brightness – Controls overall screen brightness • Contrast – Enhances the difference between bright and dark areas • Sharpness – Adjusts edge definition; closer to 20 increases detail • Color – Enhances depth and intensity of colors And don’t forget to check for the latest firmware, which may improve performance: Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now These adjustments can make a noticeable difference in overall clarity. If you need further help tailoring the settings to your preferences or environment, please contact Samsung Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG (8AM – 9PM EST Mon – Fri, 8AM – 6PM Sat – Sun). LiveChat is also available via the ‘Support’ link on our website. ~ Samsung Advisor

Love it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good quality for price point. Needed a tv for bed room this tv works perfect as my tv is mounted and os facing a window. The tv brightness is perfect for sunny days. Software is smooth I previous had a 6000 series which I found to be a bit slow. The 8000 did not fail me. Also works great with my switch

No plug for my surround sound.

Does not have the input plug for surround sound. My 65 inch has it, thought the 76 inch was and upgrade, but makes my surround sound useless with this TV. Other then that its seems to be as good as my 65 inch is. That's why I got it ( OTHER THEN THE SURROUND SOUND PLUG.) In case you missed it, a little disappointed with that.

Disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced our 10 year old LG 60" smart TV with Samsung's 58" Class Crystal UHD U8000F 4K Smart TV. We were looking for a 60" TV that was compatible with our entertainment center, but apparently nobody is manufacturing 60" TVs any more, which is very strange. Anyway, major pitfalls with this Samsung TV include that it does not have an optical output connection, this was a problem because I wanted to connect a bluetooth transmitter to the TV, so I could listen to my Sony headphones and Samsung soundbar at the same time. Unfortunately, the transmitter could not be connected without an optical output. Funny, that Samsung hasn't figured out how to make a TV that can connect to a soundbar and bluetooth headphones simultaneously. Huge bummer for us! Otherwise, the TV picture quality is acceptable, but the sound quality mediocre because we have to listen to the TV speaker when I am donning my bluetooth headphones. Goes without saying, we are not real happy with this purchase, but we're stuck now.

Hi LRW53, Thank you for reaching out. Please know the U8000F TV features Multi-output Audio, which lets you hear audio through both the TV speakers and Bluetooth headphones at the same time. You can also adjust each audio output independently - for instance, keeping the TV volume lower while boosting volume on your headphones. To enable: Home > left directional key > Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Accessibility > Multi-output Audio. If you need additional help, feel free to reach Samsung Customer Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG. You can also LiveChat with an agent or explore more resources under the Support link on our website. ~Samsung Advisor

Technology and quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] All of my TV are Samsung . Never had an issue with them since I owned them. Yes, we had couple failures in the past, but they were human errors. The technology, the quality is there. Viewing experience awesome.
