I was nervous about buying the microwave due to price but like the ergonomics of the design for our island installation location. I have had a few people manually pull the door open who are not used to it and I am wondering if this is ok to do instead of using the buttons. Most people are more familiar with pulling doors then using buttons. I am also curious if it sense obstructions when closing and stops for safety - have not tested.

We are very happy with all of our Forno appliances that we bought we bought the set which includes the hood range, dishwasher refrigerator, and drawer microwave the drawer microwave works perfect. I do have a question. Do you have to use the open and close buttons or can you use the handle to open and close the microwave, like yank on the handle to open it and I’m afraid it’s gonna burn out the motors for the automatic open and close. NICE MACHINE, EXCEPT THAT WHEN I PUSH THE OPEN BUTTON FOR THE DRAWER, IT OPENS AND THEN IMMEDIATELY CLOSES. I NEED THE DRAWER TO STAY OPEN.......... I NEED SOMEONE TO COME OUT AND LOOK AT IT

had to review to register for warranty. only been 2 months, the microwave works great, no issues yet, just as good as our SHARP similar model microwave that failed after 7 years, half the price, no noticeable downgrade, hopefully this lasts as long

The microwave is beautiful, all the bells and whistles you'll ever need. However it did arrive with a dent in the handle. It's hard to believe with all that packaging the shipper was still able to dent the handle.

The microwave looks fantastic in the kitchen. It operates quietly and is elegantly under the counter. It is a nice complement to the other Forno appliances.
