The conventional 13-gallon trash bags that you buy retail have a tough time fitting inside this trash can, although it is advertised as 50L = 13 gallons. It should be advertised as requiring a 13.2 gallon size, which they don't make. As a result, for a proper fit, you're forced to buy Simplehuman's trash bags, which are real expensive. You have to really stretch the bag on all 4 corners of the trash can when you replace it, while running the risk of the bag ripping by doing so. It's harder putting on than taking off. Other than this issue, I'm satisfied with the trash can overall, so far.

This is my 2nd 50L. The first one I bought in 2005. There wasn’t anything wrong with it! I just wanted a new one! Awesome, durable, sleek looking garbage can. The best around!

Love this can! It’s the perfect shape and size for my kitchen and it fits nicely at the end of my kitchen island. Plus it’s large enough so I don’t feel like I am constantly emptying it.

I bought this because our old can did not really fill up a 13 gal. trash bag. We went through several bags a week. With this trash can, we can go a full week on one bag. The slim design is perfect to fit in small spaces.

Best garbage can I’ve ever owned. The removable insert is what sells me on this. Despite the sleek, easy to clean exterior, the insert provides a easy of use and easy to clean component that I love.

We like this brand and are replacing one we’ve had for a while. The new cam does not have the storage spot for the trash bags like our old one but other than that we like it

Hopefully this will work better than the sensor can we bought two years ago. The sensor can stopped working. I intend to return it under warranty. Very disappointed with that product.

We love our new trash can. First, it is so beautiful, very roomy and easy to change out the bags. It looks so very nice in our kitchen, looks like a fine piece of furniture. Thank you as we are very pleased.

This trash bin is very high quality, looks sleek and works well! It is fingerprint resistant and the lid closes slowly and quietly. I would recommend this product.
