This bread i bought was bagged with the bag of apples i also purchased. And the other loaf of bread I bought was in a grocery bag with the bag of potatoes. Not sure why when they brought the groceries out to my car, they asked if I wanted my bread up front if it was in bags with such heavy items anyways.

This sourdough is just okay but it’s the best brand my Walmart carries since getting rid of their own delicious bakery sourdough. The flavor of this bread is fine but the crust texture is all wrong it’s way too tough. Since I can’t live without my sourdough I’m forced to deal with this option.

Real sourdough has less than five or six ingredients. This has almost 30. Doesn’t even taste like sourdough. Absolutely disgusting. Smells terrible. Taste terrible. Texture like a sponge. Full of preservatives and unnecessary ingredients. Some of the worst bread I’ve ever had in my life. I see people on here saying that they loved it and I can’t even understand how that’s possible. It’s absolutely disgusting. Buy your sourdough somewhere else.

I order AT LEAST 1 loaf of this bread a week … but this time my loaf SEEMS to be almost 1/2 the size as usual. With prices on the rise, the last thing I’m expecting is LESS product for my money. THIS loaf of sourdough left me with a SOUR attitude! 😒

Simply the best sourdough bread outside of a bakery. Even then it's neck and neck. Hard to get because it's so good and popular. I hate to leave this review because it may get even hard to buy. But these guys do a good job and deserve the kudos. Great!

Unfortunately it's massed produced faje sourdough bread, as so many others. it tastes good but if you want the benefits of sourdough pass on this one. There's yeast in the ingredients which makes it not sourdough. At bedt its a hybrid bread. one of the wonderful things about sourdough is that it's easier to digest. The sourdough bacteria consume the gluten, so is virtually free of gluten, naturally, as humans have been reading for millennia. This had gluten added. What's the point, except to fill people. It's so hard to find real sourdough in Dallas. Also, it's half a loaf. I saw the same bread in Colorado, but twice as big, for the same price as the small loafs bought here. Disappointed.

This bread was awful. It tasted like a chemical of some type. My husband and daughter both took one bite and the asked me to taste it. They were right!! It was terrible threw the small, expensive, gross stuff in the trash. What a waste. Don’t buy it!

The best tasting sourdough I have had since moving from the California bay area where sourdough was invented. I have started having stomach issues with regular white bread and even a couple other sourdough breads. Sourdough is a unique taste, (truly a bit sour) but because it is fermented, it is far better for you.

worst bread i have ever purchased. Stale and dry. I initially purchased the Marketplace sour dough but was advised last minute not available. Wish I had declined. And thought for sure when I initially placed the order I specifically said Pepperidge Farm as a substitute and also saw Arnolds as a second option.

This is the best bread. Ignore those reviews who give it 1 star for bread missing, you only get half a loaf, and its pricey. i always keep 2 in the freezer. a little expensive for big families who eat a lot of bread, but well worth the price for me! BTW, Walmart keeps a display up in the deli area.
