I've stopped making my own sourdough bread since I tried this brand. I found it to be crisp on the outside and soft on the inside with genuine sourdough taste and aroma. It is as good as my own recipe that I've developed and have used for years, only this brand saves time and energy without compromising quality or taste. I thoroughly enjoy eating this bread. I highly recommend it.

Healthy alternative to white bread for BRAT diet folks. After diverticulitis surgery it has been hard for me to find foods that work for me. This Rustik Sourdough bread has prebiotic fiber that helps to keep me satisfied with only a third of a piece! Toast it with a bit of REAL grass fed butter (Kerry Gold), avocado or pistachio butter. So healthy and nutritious. A little goes a long way. If you like sourdough, this bread will not disappoint.

if your son-in-law is not making homemade sourdough bread this is the next best thing. Ingredients seem to be the most authentic. The taste flavor and texture is spot on. Fantastic for garlic toast. Personally I don't think so much for cinnamon toast. Perfect for every other sandwich under the sun. Toasts beautifully. At my home you need a higher setting on the toaster if you like light to medium brown toast. Best sourdough. Next to son in law's of course.

We like this bread, I just wish they sold whole loaves of it as we eat a lot of sourdough and the half loaves do not last as long. Some of the slices towards what would be the middle of the loaf are long and can sometimes be cut in two to make it go farther.

I like the flavor of this bread. I like that it’s soft yet strong. It is soft enough for family members who have dentures to eat and it won’t stick to their teeth or rooves of their mouths. The bread is strong enough to spread thin slivers of unsalted butter across without tearing the surface. The bread is sturdy for making lunch meat and veggie sandwiches and it won’t get soggy when making tuna or chicken salad sandwiches. I wish Rustik would give the full loaf instead of half or 3/4 of a loaf for the price I am paying.

It looks far better than it tastes or smells. This is not sour or chewy enough, and it is little different from half a standard round loaf of country bread. It's fine, but only fine. Would not buy again, would not recommend to anyone seeking a bold bread.

The Rustic brand bread is a good choice or those looking for something healthier to eat. Aside from their sourdough bread, I've also tried their hearty grains and seeds. I give them both 5 stars! This sourdough bread toasts well and is great for sandwiches. Don't let the various sizes of the bread distract you from trying it. I find it an opportunity to be creative. I like cutting the longer slices in half to fit the toaster. Depending on the freshness of the bread, you might want to pay attention to how long it takes to brown in the toaster. The fresher the longer the toaster setting. Toasted, this bread also works pretty good for dunking in coffee or hot cocoa!

I really, really love this brand of sour dough. Such great flavor that I've not come across in several brands/bakery I've tried. I would like to get a full loaf, but these slices come out to be equal to a full loaf. So yummy toasted with butter, and I put jam on sometimes.

my husband usually takes cold sandwiches to work when he works on Saturdays, and is very picky about texture and sogginess of the bread. I found this bread works great with his lunch meat. It tastes great, stays fresh, and has a perfect texture! Whether it's toasted or not toasted, this bread is a great addition to any sandwich! The only disadvantage is that it isn't a large loaf. For the price, I wish it there was a few more slices. Other than that, highly recommend.

If you are a sourdough bread fan, this is the one to try. It is the perfect texture, will stand up to any sandwich and is not sweet like many others I've tried. It's great with soups and stews too. When I want sourdough, this is the bakery I'll be looking for.
