I think it is a good value for a sketch kit. It has many pieces which appear good quality. I won’t know till I use it as if they are pencils that break off constantly. I had pencils that look great and fail.

Excellent Customer Service

Artskills have excellent customer service. The original shipment has a couple of charcoal pencils with broken leads. The customer service sent me a replacement very soon. This set is well worth the money with a good variety of sketching tools in it. I especially love the charcoal pencils and charcoal sticks. And I love the shammy cloth -- please make it bigger. I recommend this art set to beginners like me. It has everything needed to start drawing.

A really nice value for the money. You really get a LOT of goodies in this really nice metal tin box (hinged!) and would make a nice pencil box or a project box after its all emptied out. :) I am looking forward to using this set!! Lovely presentation!! 5 stars!

Broken lead of the charcoal pencil, flimsy eraser

This sketch kit is well worth the money. It includes a good variety of drawing materials. I especially like the Chamois included in this art set. It works well although it is very small (3 in x 3 in). I wish they included a larger piece. The pencils work pretty well. The charcoal sticks are great. What disappointed me were the charcoal pencils. One of them came with a broken lead. The 2 erasers are different from the photo. They are very flimsy. One broke while sharpening the charcoal pencil. Overall I think this is a value art set with some defective items. And I will recommend it to any beginner artists.
