I think it is a good value for a sketch kit. It has many pieces which appear good quality. I won’t know till I use it as if they are pencils that break off constantly. I had pencils that look great and fail.

My granddaughter found this fun. She enjoyed all the different charcoals, pencils, erasers and blenders that came with this kit. The tablet is the only thing I wouldn't rate 5 star. It is a very small sketch pad with few pages. Otherwise, this is great.

For young artists and beginners.

This set was purchased for a Grandson. He has good natural talent, but lacked the basic supplies. This set was part of seperate items I purchased elsewhere for him. The range of lead pencils is adequate as a sampler. Be aware that the set comes with just four colored, hard charcoal sticks. It would have been nice if a few soft charcoal sticks in compatable colors were included. This set will introduce the beginner to some of the different forms of charcoal used and tools that help to achieve the desired shading and blending for a completed work. All in all, it comes in a slim, metal case that is easily stored with helpful pictorial examples of what each item represents for the beginner.

Damaged package and purchase order

My package is damaged. The tin storage box for storing art supplies that came in the box has a huge dent in it. I will say everything I ordered from Walmart for Christmas was everything I knew it would be great, except for my last purchase. I'm so disappointed in the shape it came in.

This is being sold in Sam’s for $5.41. Free shipping should mean the prices are consistent online and n the store. This is a low end kit. The pencils are always useful.
