Upset with Collector Bottle Marketing

I drink Maker's Mark products and have not found one yet I didn't like. I also have a large collection of Maker's Mark bottles. My only complaint is last year a very, very limited number of collector bottles in three (3) different design labels were released the same day. It was almost impossible to buy more than one (1). I went to four stores in Lexington and all were out within 45 - 50 minutes from opening the doors. I have been very disappointed in your decision to market these bottles in such a thoughtless manner. It is a disgusting blow to Ambassadors and collectors!

To me this is absolutely the best bourbon you can get! Not only did it meet my expectations it exceeded them! I have purchased Maker's Mark so many times I couldn't even begin to tell you. The packaging is fabulous with the wax dipping and dripping off the top. The flavor is phenomenal! It can be a little pricey but it's a top shelf bourbon what would you expect? I have used this in making bourbon balls and simply sipping and shots as well as cocktails. I absolutely love Maker's Mark! Makers Mark Bourbon Whiskey 175L Bottle

Makers Mark Bourbon Whiskey 175L Bottle is a bourbon that goes down smooth and easy. It's not one that is so strong it's hard to enjoy. It's made with soft red winter wheat as opposed to rye. And, of course the iconic red wax seal on the bottle they're famous for! They have a free ambassador program on their website. You not only get an ambassador kit in the mail but, something even cooler, IMO. All new Ambassadors are assigned a barrel of Maker's Mark. Your name will be engraved on a placard which will be affixed to a newly filled barrel. Once your barrel has finished aging, one-of-a-kind Ambassador bottles from that batch will be available for purchase with your name on the label. One of my favorites is making a Whiskey Sour...recipe is below! #MakersMark #Ambassador #WhiskeySour #Influenster Whiskey Sour Recipe 2 parts Maker's Mark® Bourbon 1/2 part simple syrup 1 part lemon juice Add Maker's Mark, lemon juice and simple syrup to an ice-filled shaker. Give it a good shake. Strain into a rocks glass over ice. Garnish with a lemon peel and a cherry.🍒 🍋

Good ever day drink

For those who have been down the Bourbon Trail we know that this is not a Top Tier bourbon BUT it is a Good bourbon. Maker's Mark is a good every day drinker and does mix well. Doesn't give the Kentucky Hug as much as others so it is smooth. I do enjoy a Maker's Old Fashioned and always have a bottle on hand.

This is my go to drink. Im a big girl, and i like a big girl drink. It is a bit sweeter and smoother than most whiskeys that I have ever had, and it is best, in my opinion, served over ice, with a splash of water. About half the people I know prefer this whiskey to any other one. Its quality.

My go to Bourbon

When I started dabbling in bourbon given my brother and son-in-laws bourbon habit, I tried about 40 different brands of bourbon. But I kept coming back to Maker's Mark. I've finally quit tasting others and now exclusively buy MM. On the rocks or as a bourbon sour - it doesn't get any better.

We make this our organization beverage

We are a group of about 100 members, spouses, friends of the United States Air Force Security Police from Edwards Air Force Base, CA, home of the Air Force Flight Test Center, who were stationed together in the mid to late 1970s. We have come together to form the Edwards AFB "Desert Rats" Association. Every other year we hold a reunion somewhere in the United States. At each site, we arrange to have plenty of Makers Mark stocked by the bar; in fact it is in the contract we negotiate. We have thus far cleaned them out of their stock of Makers Mark, and we are proud of our accomplishment and heritage we have created.

Makers Mark is delicious! I'm not a whiskey girl at all but decided to try something new for the holidays and this bourbon whiskey is so easy to drink! It does not have a harsh after taste like other whiskeys. It is easy to have as a shot and taste great as a cocktail! I made a cocktail with ginger ale Makers mark and some fresh orange juice. It was tasty and easy to drink!

Makes for a great bourbon and coke...

I typically buy a cheaper bourbon for my cocktails, but when I want to spring for something a little extra fancy I typically go with either this or Bulleit. I mix my bourbon with a caffeine free diet Pepsi (less sugar the better being that alcohol is already sweet). Bulleit reminds me of a more smooth Jim Beam. It has that slight smoky taste. I'm sometimes sensitive to that smokiness. I'm not a huge fan of overly smoked meats or the liquid smoke people use in BBQ'ing. That also goes for my liquors. This Makers Mark is a top shelf bourbon that seems to have even less of that taste which I often times prefer. It goes down easy and also makes for a great bourbon 7. Not to mention that Makers Mark has one of the most unique and intriguing bottles in the bourbon industry. It's definitely an eye catcher.
