Really enjoyed my bottle of makers. What made it more special is that it came from my barrel and even had my name engraved on it. Beautiful place to visit and was so much fun to dip our own bottles. Really enjoyed their many variations of old fashions.

For those who have been down the Bourbon Trail we know that this is not a Top Tier bourbon BUT it is a Good bourbon. Maker's Mark is a good every day drinker and does mix well. Doesn't give the Kentucky Hug as much as others so it is smooth. I do enjoy a Maker's Old Fashioned and always have a bottle on hand.

Maker's Mark is what I serve to ALL my friends and guest. It is the best tasting, smoothest bourbon I have ever tasted in my 75 years. Please never change it. Everyone I serve it to always ask what it is, I tell them and that is when they switch to Maker's Mark.

To me this is absolutely the best bourbon you can get! Not only did it meet my expectations it exceeded them! I have purchased Maker's Mark so many times I couldn't even begin to tell you. The packaging is fabulous with the wax dipping and dripping off the top. The flavor is phenomenal! It can be a little pricey but it's a top shelf bourbon what would you expect? My dad always had makers mark in the house when I was growing up. It's his go to whiskey. He's the one who taught me how to make an old fashion and now I always make sure I have makers in my decanter for when he stops by to visit. I love tossing a shot of it in my tea when I'm sick, making bourbon martinis with it or just having a classic old fashion at the end of a long day. Can't go wrong.

Love my Maker's Mark whether it be on the rocks or with a touch of water to draw out the flavor. Been an ambassador since 2012 and my wife has been since shortly thereafter. Here is one problem we did run into with the Christmas decorated 1.75L bottles that we purchased during the Christmas holidays. By applying the green wax over the red wax it was very difficult to get to get the top off. Each one took at least 20 minutes resulting in a lot of work and a little nicking up of the hands. There may have been an easy way to do it but we sure could not figure it out. Just thought I would pass this along to you.

I should mention, right off the bat, that I'm not much of a drinker. In fact, I'm reviewing this whiskey because it's the “secret” ingredient in my homemade vanilla bourbon ice cream. Maker's Mark is perfect in that ice cream recipe because the whiskey itself is full-bodied, flavorful, and smooth. It mellows beautifully in an ice cream because it gives the batch a distinctive bourbon flavor without making the final product taste “booze-y.” Unlike other whiskeys I've used in the past, the Maker's Mark also plays nicely in the freezer, and doesn't cause unpleasant ice crystals to form, leaving the finished ice cream smooth and delicious.

Neat, on the rocks or in a Manhattan, Makers is the best made bourbon there is !! Makers has it all, from everyday to the very special occasion bourbon !! My friends, family and coworkers all drink Makers, mostly for the taste but also for their loyalty and tradition!! Bottoms Up !!

Makers Mark Bourbon Whiskey 175L Bottle is a bourbon that goes down smooth and easy. It's not one that is so strong it's hard to enjoy. It's made with soft red winter wheat as opposed to rye.
