Only minor cons are that it has a small bin that sometimes needs to be emptied mid job and smaller objects like toys will need to be cleared for optimum use.

This little robot is a breeze to set up—simply download the Robot Home App, follow the straightforward instructions to connect it to your home network, and create a mapping of your entire house, which takes about 90 minutes. Then, within the app, set up a cleaning schedule, and you're all set. Once everything is configured, it's off to work for you. The home docking station is where the magic happens: not only does it charge the robot, but it also empties its container of dirt from vacuuming the floor. While the robot is running its course, it's impressively quiet, thanks to its thoughtful design. However, when it's docked and cleaning out the dirt into the filter inside the docking station, it does get a bit louder. It is equipped with two rubber wheels that grip well on both carpet and tile, along with sensors and cameras that detect objects, this little helper navigates seamlessly through your home, leaving your floors spotless. I bought a J7 for $695. Before I even received the delivery, the price dropped to $495. So I requested a refund of the difference. They said that I waited 10 days to ask for a refund, and I needed to do so within 7 days. Seriously? I could have returned it and gotten a full refund, but chose to keep it because I didn't want to go through the trouble of shipping it back. They probably knew that.

I love this robot. I think this is a great buy for me. If I can sweep my floor, every day is better than this robot, but I'm not. I program to clean every day for good clean. I am mapping the whole house real precise by moving small furniture away. You need to clean and check this robot every other day. Hair will be stuck with brush and will hit everything on the front. It's will scratches on the body everywhere. I don't think this robot is good for a house with pets. I still sweep the corner of the house one a week. Don't let the robot clean when no one is home. Change the robot will get stuck somewhere and run out of the battery. It's not good for battery in the long run.

First off the design is very compact and attractive. I love the silver top and matte black finish. It's super easy to keep it clean. The navigation is very impressive. Most of my debris is picked up after each run but on some runs it does miss spots. Not as loud as an upright so you can run it when you're home. Easy to maintain and clean. My only issues have been software related. I had to create a new map because the only got corrupted when it kept updating it after each run. It will randomly reboot and some times it freezes. Even with these issues it's saves me hours of my time and keeps the dust and dirt at bay.

Our j7+ is an upgrade from our old Roomba we bought well over 10 years ago. While the old one worked very well, this new model is vastly improved. It is so much more powerful we noticed a difference right away. The mapping function is truly awesome, it really doesn't stop until it has covered the whole house and the rollers don't get clogged with our cats hair like the old ones did. And the self-emptying feature works extremely well and is a great convenience. Can't say enough about it. The phone app works well but could stand to be a little more intuitive.

The iRobot got stuck for the 1st time in one of the bedrooms. It dug into and tore up the carpet and iRobot will not pay for the replacement of the carpet in that room. Told me because of the type of carpet (loop type carpet) that it's not the iRobot's fault but could not nor did not direct me to where this is written. iRobot offered to mail a new iRobot which is kinda funny since they said it shouldn't be used on loop type carpet.

Amazing technology. We have been impressed with this little smart machine. I am surprised people expect such a small delicate tool to work like a bulldozer. You need to do your work and prepare the ground beforehand. Remove the large rubbish, shoes, socks, clips, papers, cloths, ... out of its way. Clean its wheels and caster after every shift. Treat it as delicate as you would treat your other smart stuff!

It is a little clumsy and did get stuck a couple times, but overall it has preformed really well. The app makes it really easy to control and track your cleaning throughout the area. It even takes pictures of obstacles and shows it in the clean report! I was provided with this product in exchange for my honest feedback.

As a previous Eufy fan with pets, I was desperate for the poop detection. So far, I have had no complaints. While the eufy seemed to have better suction and left less dirt and hair behind. It's lack of mapping meant areas would be missed. The smart features of this robovac are really impressive. I love how it recharges and then completes the job. Overall I am very satisfied and would recommend over eufy if you have a pet.
