Vacuum cycles worked well for the most part, although the bin is almost too small to complete without having to be emptied. Set it to vacuum more often and that helped a lot.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always wanted a Roomba and this vacuum does not disappoint! It comes with everything you need to get started right out of the box, along with an extra filter and edge sweeping brush. Once unboxed, you plug in the charging station and download the iRobot HOME App which walks you thru set up (if you prefer, you can access the owners guide online as well). I have been using the vacuum for a couple weeks now and it's still "learning" the best cleaning routes (your vacuum will explore and learn the best cleaning routes using it's front-facing camera). I love the Easy to use App (you can name your vacuum, ours is "Spinny Winny"), the vacuum Cleans well and avoids obstacles (like shoes, chairs, etc.), it has a bright light as well. I am a pet owner (2 dogs) so there is constantly pet hair everywhere no matter how much I vacuum. My dogs are not as excited about the vacuum as I am LOL! I have never owned a Roomba or any smart vacuum before so I'm still learning how to set up cleaning routes, automate cleaning, etc. The app is super helpful and there is support on the irobot website as well. Overall, I am really happy with my new vacuum and having clean floors and carpets each day!

I bought this because it's geared towards pets. It has a small waste bin. I find clumps of dog hair around the house because the rollers don't properly spin. I'm Constantine cleaning on the metal parts of the rollers to remove human hair. I have it scheduled to go M/W/F and 2 of those days a week I find it stuck somewhere for some unknown reason. My carpets have started to pull on the edges. Doesn't clean well along walls. Not worth the money to constantly still have to clean up after it or find it stuck or not working properly. It's only been 5 months. Very disappointed with it.

With 2 dogs, 2 small kids and a husband who works construction I was either vacuuming every day or looking at tumble weeds of dog hair and crumbs floating around my house. Not any more! The roomba j7 does it all for me! It navigates around obstacles easily! I was really worried it would have a hard time going over our thresholds from the kitchen slate tiles to the hardwood floors and every onto the carpets. Absolutely no worries. It climbs over everything with ease. If I don't run it every day o have to clean the bin out during the middle of cleaning. It's super easy to do though. 2 clicks and a dump! I have a dyson stick vacuum that's an absolute pain to clean the bin out so this was quite refreshing to have such an easy experience with. I love how you can easily program with your phone and it instantly sends alerts if something is wrong. I'll definitely need to purchase another one for my basement!

Well this was a huge waist of money. I purchased this thing because they IRobot assured me that it would pick up the dog hair with no problem. I have to say at first it was great and with in the last two to three weeks it wasn't cleaning as well and then it just went RED LIGHT. Won't move or do anything. I called customer support and they walk you through taking it apart. Then tell you that it isn't working. Thanks! Called customer support and they are sending out a new robot only. So lets hope it is no the charger or the base at all. Otherwise I will be waiting another week or so. IRobot is good about sending emails with sort of updates. You get the email saying "Thank you for your purchase. Your replacement will be sent out in 4 to 5 days. And that is what you continue to receive. They do give you an order number but their system doesn't recognize it as of yet. TBD!

Outstanding robot, I'm so so impressed with how quickly the J9+ Self emptying Robot Vacuum was able to map my hole house. The robot is a peace of art, so beautiful and modern design and what I like the most in it was that it makes almost no noise. That makes my heart very happy! Cleans all rooms very well and the fact that you don't need to clean it all the time that you use is amazing! I TOTALLY RECOMMEND THE J9+ Self emptying Robot Vacuum!!!! ♥️

These roombas are the most difficult things to use and set up even for a young person that is good with technology. My roomba took at least 10 tries for it to finally connect to our wifi. After a week it somehow got disconnected again and after several attempts to connect it again it has the error 25. I tried to reboot it but now it's just dead/froze and it's only a week old. Not to mention my first one had to be sent back because it would not work for longer than one minute because the bumper kept getting stuck.

I purchased this product in 2020 and used it for hard floors and carpet on a limited basis ( not enough to wear it out in two years) and have had to replace the entire bottom of the vacuum, the base and it still doesn't work right now. i'm getting error after error. This was a very expensive product to last about a year. terrible purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This robot vac is powerful and quiet. The dirt suction is loud at the end but you get use to it. The robot is set to high suction and 2 passes each cleaning lasting about 2 1/2 hours. I have tons of dog hair through out the day and mine runs every night.
