Had a older IRobot did good job. This one has some good Features. Does well in Vacuuming Picks up more than older model. Like the Mapping of room feature. a few draw backs for me is. 1. Wish it had a handle like older model to move to a room rather than picking whole thing up. 2. didn't buy the self cleaning means i empty same as older model. However it does NOT let you know when its time to empty like older model. 3. It does not have a spot clean like older model. if you have a spill in small area it doesn't focus on that area. but goes all around room. If you move it to a new area not sure the mapping is added to the original map.

I run my iRobot EVERY day and I love it in general. However I have 5 dogs and it struggles each day with the amount. It bogs down the rubber spinners and leaves long twists of pet hair on the edges of my area rugs. The flip side is iRobot gets under everything, in every corner, and large space areas. I would buy another one but I'd love more power to handle homes that aren't average.

I do not recommend buying this iRobot! This is the stupidest iRobot I have owned since 2008. It gets stuck all the time, cant find it's base and the vacuum base had electrical issues after 3 months and had to be replaced. 6 months in and less than that in use, due to the base replacement taking over 2 months to deliver after consulting with customer service the only thing we are left with is a measly trade in of $100 or replace the unit for another idiot robot :( I regret this purchase and the experience altogether.

After months of research I finally caved in and bought the J9+. I was absolutely excited until after my Roomba began to have multiple issues picking up my pet's hair as well as emptying its contents into the station. A machine of this price point should NEVER have issues this early. Very disappointed and looking to replace.

I was very skeptical of this product for years but finally I gave it a try. What a great product! I am so impressed with it, I have one for each floor of the house. The robot shows up for work, on time, ever day it is scheduled. I don't have to inspect under the beds or furniture to make sure the vacuuming was done properly, nor do I worry about scratches on the furniture. One payment and supplies every three months for the robot, is far less costly than having to deal with a part-time housekeeping and the robot does a better job, faster. I would never do without the robot again.

This new roomba I got is worst than the first. It randomly starts all night, playing it's charms to wake me up. I emailed for help and sent videos. They never responded. Then, on top of that, it will NOT clean in front of my bed or this random spot in the floor. I live in a studio apartment. It's. One. Room. How can that be this hard? I feel like this is worse than my first roomba that sucked up cat vomit. This one hasn't done that thankfully but it crashes into everything. Like it's scratched and cracked open in the front because it hit my walls THAT hard. I think the company just sends a worst replacement if they "help" you. This was so much money. I had the 600 series in 2015 and it was WONDERFUL. It did what it was supposed to do. I feel like the more advanced things get, the absolute worst problems they get too.

I've had a few different robot vacuums over the years starting with the original Roomba. Recently had a shark vacuum that decided it had an appetite for cat poo and decided I needed to upgrade. This new Roomba was worth every penny as I no longer have to worry about it running over a cat toy and getting hung up and there's no more worry about it dragging a terd throughout the house. I was also impressed with how clean it left every room it cleaned. I'd recommend this to anyone, but especially people with pets

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am just loving how well this Roomba Vacuum works, it vacuums the floors well and I really like that when the vacuum is full it will go back and empty it self and then continue vacuuming my floors. This vacuum is also pretty quiet picks up everything in its path and I also like that it sweeps the edges of the rooms. It is also easy to empty out the canister once it’s filled up.

We bought this Roomba for Christmas. This is our fourth Roomba. We have had our other Roomba's for several years before buying a replacement. This Roomba stopped working showing error 26 after a few weeks. customer service is sending a new part to replace cleaning head modular. So frustrated!! why should I have to repair a brand new vacuum. They will not send me a new one and take this one back!!

We have an Umbrella Cockatoo in the house. This breed creates a lot of dander. I own two J5's and a M6 mop robot. They work great together to vacuum and mop the floors. The bird thinks they are alive and pitches food down to them as they pass her cage and ring stand.
