[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this Roomba® j9+ Robot Vacuum for free through BzzAgent in exchange for my honest opinion. I love this product! It's easy to use and even easier to set up. The Roomba came with very easy to read and easy to understand instructions. Once you've downloaded the app you get to name it. Mine is Dusty Bottoms! The first thing it does is map out the room. Let it run and roam the house. I think it's pretty cool that it learns the layout of your home and your able to see it on the app. Once it has mapped out the room, you're able to select where it vacuums or just select vacuum everywhere. You can also set it to vacuum on a schedule or just open the app for it to vacuum as needed. My favorite part is the Roomba finds it way "home" and empties itself! I have 3 dogs and this has been a great help! I do have two cons, though. The first one, The Roomba is guaranteed to avoid objects that are in the way like dog poo. I set up 2 obstacles to test it and it didn't exactly avoid it. I set a small box on the floor. The Roomba bumped into it twice before finally moving around it. I have 2 dogs that are still potty training so we have weewee pads set out. I just make sure to remove the weewee pad before setting Dusty Bottoms to work. My second con is that it doesn't vacuum along the edges very well. It seems like it tries to but it bumps up against the base board then turns. It doesn't do one sweeping motion to get clean up against the base boards. I've added a video to show how it doesn't exactly avoid objects. All in all, this vacuum is pretty cool and extremely useful. I 100% recommend it.

I have a full house with 5 people living in it the roomba helps me soo much less work for me to do. It avoided everything iRobot had said on their website hasn't ate up any wires. I have been owning my roomba for a month and I am in love! I highly recommend. Easy set up although the mapping part had me a bit confused but I figured it out.

This product works AWESOME, I have had products like this (Sam###g) and they worked, BUT they never avoided objects (we had a dog that was getting up in age and occasionally had accidents in the house ‍ what a mess) those could not be controlled anything like this or go to a specific area you need to clean and finds the docking station every time and empties into the storage bag. The biggest thing I noticed was around my dining room table and all the chairs WITHOUT bang bang bang trying to navigate around all the chairs it senses them and actually cleans around everything. IT ALSO gives me suggestions for cleaning areas and when it's shedding season and in AZ dust is always a problem. Another great feature is my ability to set up "NO GO ZONES" the vacuum listens and learns ALL the rooms in our house. I still have 2 dogs and a cat and this vacuum is AMAZING and keeps all my floors (hardwood & carpet) looking and feeling great and the pet hair cleaned up!!! Plus ANY charging cords or plug inn cords this vacuum has NEVER pulled one in or been a problem. I 100% recommend anyone getting this you won't be disappointed !!!

This is our third Roomba purchase. Our first roomba was used for 3 years on our first floor. It was an i7 with the clean base. For 2-1/2 years if ran 4 days a week without major issues. Of course we needed a battery, replacement brushes and bags but nothing out of the ordinary. Then we started having docking issues. After going through service we just decided to upgrade. So we looked into the new J7. We have little dogs that sometimes have accidents. This feature on the new j7 seemed like the way to go. Well after purchasing one for our first floor and having it for over a month, we decided we needed a second one for the second floor as well. After a week of seeing no cat hair on the carpet, I'm glad we made the second purchase.

Our j7+ is an upgrade from our old Roomba we bought well over 10 years ago. While the old one worked very well, this new model is vastly improved. It is so much more powerful we noticed a difference right away. The mapping function is truly awesome, it really doesn't stop until it has covered the whole house and the rollers don't get clogged with our cats hair like the old ones did. And the self-emptying feature works extremely well and is a great convenience. Can't say enough about it. The phone app works well but could stand to be a little more intuitive.

Had a older IRobot did good job. This one has some good Features. Does well in Vacuuming Picks up more than older model. Like the Mapping of room feature. a few draw backs for me is. 1. Wish it had a handle like older model to move to a room rather than picking whole thing up. 2. didn't buy the self cleaning means i empty same as older model. However it does NOT let you know when its time to empty like older model. 3. It does not have a spot clean like older model. if you have a spill in small area it doesn't focus on that area. but goes all around room. If you move it to a new area not sure the mapping is added to the original map.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Roomba® j715020 Robot Vacuum with WiFi connectivity is really the best home appliance that I have ever owned. I easily connected it to my phone via Bluetooth and was able to have it clean my entire basement while I wasn't home with just a push of a button. I have never experienced such a cool device. We have two cats, one being long haired and you can about imagine the amount of hair we get on all of our floors and this just zooms around cleaning it all up every day. You have to make sure that you empty the bin each day as its gets pretty full after each use. This device makes cleaning your floors a breeze and it's cut down my cleaning time nearly in half. This is such a great product that I can't say enough about and recommend it to anyone looking for a new Irobot vacuum.

We bought this vacuum 7 months ago and worked great for 7 months. Now we have constant issues of it not vacuuming in areas it's supposed to do during a job. It misses areas that it's supposed to do. I have reset this vacuum already to start fresh. It always throws errors and constantly not doing it's job. Then I have to search for it and put it back in the dock. I am highly disappointed with this vacuum! I could vacuum my house better and a shorter amount of time than this thing!

It's a good little machine, but the suction isn't stellar. Even the one of the Self-Empty base isn't very good. I have a Roomba for my Birds to pick up stray seeds that fell out, and it often misses some, and on the self empty base- most seeds stay behind inside the Roomba-Canister. I also do not like, that you can not set roomba to do criss cross vacuuming like another Brand I know. Meaning, setting it for an extra thorough clean, where it first goes the room lengthwise and a second round side to side. The only thing that made me decide for the Roomba after trying that other Brand is, the app works really well. You can set different schedules for different days and Roomba works well with Alexa, and notifies you of any issues or completed jobs. The other Brand, with a unstable, constantly crashing app, not working well with Alexa and most of all the very limited scheduling capabilities- had phenomenal mapping and exceptional cleaning capability and no vaccume bag needed (Hepa Filter with removable easy dump cannister on the charging Station. BUT not having a good app, limited scheduling capability would have made it a little less useful and more of a headache in the long run. So I decided for the Roomba. It does take amusing pictures and I still love and enjoy my little Roomba. Maybe my CON's will be PRO's down the Road when those things are improved and I will certainly opt for that newer Generation. Til then my little guy will be good enough, just not perfect yet- overall still a good little Robot to have.

By far the best roomba ever with so much intelligence that you no longer have to worry about it getting stuck or worse running over dog waste. The only negative is the sound it makes when emptying itself....can wake the dead. I have a new large home and it will work hours (going back and recharging of course) until it is totally complete. Love the ability to identify rooms and schedule them on different days.
