Good dishwasher for the price

Works well. Easy to use. Looks good and a good price for having a metal tub. Two very minor issues - The silverware caddy grid holes are a little small for silverware with large-ish handles. Fine for most "normal" sized silverware. The rods that stick up from the bottom rack are straight. I've used dishwashers where those have a little bend in them and that works somehat better.

Hello! Appreciate you sharing your thoughts — sounds like your Dishwasher is doing a solid job on the cleaning front, and that sleek look plus the metal tub is always a win. We’ll make sure your notes about the silverware caddy and the straight tines on the lower rack get passed along to our product team. If you ever need anything down the road, you can always reach out to @LGUSSupport. ^James

Very well made

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got my LG dishwasher 2 weeks ago. It is so easy to work. Washes and drys the dishes great. Run time can be 1 1/2 to 3 hrs , depending on your cycle. The door handle is also nice with an easy open and close. This is a well make disherwasher

Zero Complaints

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've read reviews about noise and poor drying, but I haven't had either problem. The sound level is low enough to forget about, the drying is perfectly fine, and I'm impressed by the cleaning job. I honestly can't think of anything to criticize.

Great dishwasher, very effective

We have had this for several months and are very happy with its performance. It cleans much better than our previous dishwasher. The one issue I have had is getting wine glasses to stand up, whether in the top or bottom rack. Everything else fits well, and having the silverware/flatware holding feature be flip-up allows us to put one type in one section and other, wider pieces in the other.

Love it, but took a while to figure out the drying

We love the look and craftsmanship of this unit! The only reason we're not giving it 5 stars is because it took us several washes and thorough online research to determine the drying cycle. We thought it should have been much easier to figure out how to dry the dishes properly. Now that we know, we simply love this dishwasher, which we bought along with all the other LG kitchen units.

Great for the price!

Bought my LDFC2423V 2 months ago. Quieter than I expected for the price point and cleans dishes well. Only complaints are the control labels are hard to read unless kitchen is lit up brightly and dishes don’t get as dry as I expected. Overall, a good buy!

Good Product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I kept seeing complaints about noise and poor drying, but I honestly haven't had either problem. You can hear it hiss as it first fills, after that you might forget that it's on. I think it's very good for the price.

"Fine" Dishwasher

We've had this dishwasher for about a month and a half and are getting used to it. It's "fine" but not exceptional. First, the configuration of the bottom rack makes it difficult to load and not have the dishes and bowls overlap. I'm a potter and make my own plates and bowls so they are not all the same shape and size, but that being said, this was never an issue with my old dishwasher. I am also not satisfied that the tub stays moist after the drying is complete. I do like that the silverware compartments have flap/lids that open and help support the utensils. I also like that it is fairly quiet. It is possible that I have not learned all there is to know about this dishwasher and in time I may come to appreciate the various features more but so far it's not all I'd hoped it would be.

Keep shopping

I’ve had this machine for a couple months. In most cycles it drains every couple minutes and refills. In turbo cycle it drains less frequently but still seems to happen more often than necessary. Planning to submit the issue under the manufacturers warranty but have not had the time to deal with it yet .

Problematic

So far, I'm still having problems. Sometimes it shuts down as soon as I turn it on. I have an electrician coming back in January. Your repair person didn't open the dishwasher but said it is my house electrical problem. My Electrician had already been out before the LG repair person came out and verified it was not the house. My next step is to get the outlet changed even though my electrician said it is good. Recently one of the "feet" inside tray shot out onto the floor.
