Our other TV had glares from outdoor light, lights in the house which made it hard to see at times, not an issue with this one. Also great for gaming, the 4k and Hz make it reactive with out blur.

The brightness of the QN90D is, quite frankly, a revelation. It doesn't just "fight" glare; it ignores it. Even in the middle of a sunny Saturday, the Anti-Reflection coating ensures that I'm seeing the movie, not the reflection of my sofa. For a long time, "deep blacks" were reserved for OLEDs, but this Neo QLED changes the conversation. The Quantum Matrix Technology offers surgical precision. In high-contrast scenes-think stars against a pitch-black sky- the blacks stay deep and velvety while the stars pinprick with incredible intensity. The Neo Quantum HDR+ brings out textures in dark fabrics and shadows that I've never noticed in my favorite films before. We hosted a movie night recently, and I was worried about those sitting on the ends of the couch. I needn't have been. The Ultra Viewing Angle tech keeps the color 100% accurate even from the side. My only gripe with this television is that it randomly goes black for about a second. The number of times varies. At its worst it would black out once a minute or so. The only resolution is to completely unplug the television. That usually helps. However, at this price point, this shouldn't be happening. It's problematic when you're trying to watch television and it keeps blacking out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have this television in a very bright room. Overall, we have enjoyed it. The sound is above average. The brightness overall, has been good for this bright room, but we would be happier with something brighter. The angle viewing is great from anywhere in the room. The only thing I don't care for is it seems to be much smaller than any other 85 inch TV both from samsung, as well as other brands. As TVs now automatically scale down to fit programming, it's frustrating that you buy such a large television to have such substantial black borders on the top and bottom, and when this TV seems even smaller in measurement compared to other 85 in tvs, this is even more exaggerated.

The vibrancy shows every color I could think of but 10x better. The resolution is out of this world better than any other tv i have seen. Finally the contrast is beautiful!

At this resolution and size, it is much more obvious when I'm watching something that's older, but that's to be expected. I have a very bright living room with lots of windows, so the matte screen is perfect. Sound is also great...probably better than I've had on any of my TVs. Still figuring out all the bells and whistles, but love it so far.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very pleased with this TV. Picture is bright and crisp. The anti-glare screen is great but still see some very limited reflection; but it disappears on normal scenes. The glare is always "out of focus" (It's just a smudge rather than a true reflection) so the image is much less noticeable and definitely a major, huge improvement. The TV is mounted above a fireplace (which is not being used) so the viewing angle is a challenge. The TV is tilted down to the max (15 degrees) but there is a noticeable difference between straight-on viewing vs. viewing at a side angle (30+ degrees). i.e. viewing from bottom right or left corners loses some clarity. All in all, I highly recommend this Neo QLED TV, especially as a legitimate option for viewers whose viewing habits stand the risk of burn-in on an OLED TV. My only complaint is the noticeable lag when the picture shifts from a black screen with white text to a normal screen. Reference is the beginning of each "Major Crimes" episode when doing credits. The switch back and forth between a picture with white text on a black screen, and a normal picture, demonstrates the lag as the TV momentarily adjusts the picture as the new image is being displayed. All in all, I highly recommend this TV!
