This is a great lump charcoal. It's easy to light, creates a great sear on steaks and maintains its heat for a long time when I want to cook low and slow. I only wish Sams Club would carry their super briquettes as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The acacia hardwood is clean burning and really hot. It burns hotter so just need to use less so it's worth the money. One thing I don't like is alot of gravel size.

I just picked up this charcoal for the first time for the Fourth of July after seeing it on the Times100. I was not disappointed. I like their mission and my family liked the food I made. This is new go-to charcoal.
