Your note about extended dry times helps show exactly what you’re seeing with your new LG unit. For the best results with towels, LG recommends using Heavy Duty, Towels, or Normal with High Heat, depending on your model. Hello, Shane. We appreciate you sharing your experience with your LG DLE6100W Dryer, and we want you to feel confident that your laundry comes out just the way you expect. When clothing gets caught or damaged during a cycle, it can sometimes be tied to items slipping between the drum and the surrounding casing, especially if the load is very small or contains lightweight fabrics. Checking that the drum is rotating smoothly, avoiding single‑item loads, and ensuring the dryer is level can help prevent fabric from getting pulled into tight spaces. You can review more details on how this can occur here: https://www.lg.com/us/support/help-library/lg-top-load-washing-machine-clothes-get-caught-between-the-tub-and-the-casing-around-it-clothes-came-out-of-the-tub--20154629491887 If you’d like us to take a closer look at your unit or walk through additional steps, feel free to reach out to lgdigitalcare@lg.sprinklrsupport.com.
