Fast Dry and Quiet!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had this dryer for a few weeks. Very large capacity, dries clothes faster than my old unit. Very satisfied!

Hello, Shane. We appreciate you sharing your experience with your LG DLE6100W Dryer, and we want you to feel confident that your laundry comes out just the way you expect. When clothing gets caught or damaged during a cycle, it can sometimes be tied to items slipping between the drum and the surrounding casing, especially if the load is very small or contains lightweight fabrics. Checking that the drum is rotating smoothly, avoiding single‑item loads, and ensuring the dryer is level can help prevent fabric from getting pulled into tight spaces. You can review more details on how this can occur here: https://www.lg.com/us/support/help-library/lg-top-load-washing-machine-clothes-get-caught-between-the-tub-and-the-casing-around-it-clothes-came-out-of-the-tub--20154629491887 If you’d like us to take a closer look at your unit or walk through additional steps, feel free to reach out to lgdigitalcare@lg.sprinklrsupport.com. Beware RXO delivery

Im sure the dryer is nice, if it ever gets to us. We were supposed to receive this but once our delivery window had passed we were told it would not be delivered due to 'weather' and had to be sent back to be rescanned. This is northern CA, it was raining, that is all. Very disappointed in Sam's choice of delivery partners, this will be the last order we make and will choose other retailers going forward.

Does not Heat up

Dryer works for a few months than it stops getting hot which costs more energy to dry.

Hello there. Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We understand that your DLE6100W dryer is no longer operating after less than two months of use. Your feedback is important, and we'd like to assist you further. To address this issue, please consider the following troubleshooting steps:Check the Power Connection:Ensure that the dryer's power cord is securely plugged into a functioning electrical outlet. Sometimes, power cords can become loose due to vibrations or accidental movements.Inspect the Circuit Breaker:Locate your home's electrical panel and identify the circuit breaker corresponding to the dryer.Remove and ReplaceTurn off the circuit breaker for the dryer, wait for about 5 seconds, and then turn it back on. This action can reset the electrical supply to the dryer and resolve minor power issues.Perform a Hard Reset:Unplug the dryer from the electrical outlet.Remove and ReplaceWhile the dryer is unplugged, press and hold the POWER/START button for 5 seconds.Next, press and hold the PLAY/PAUSE button for 5 seconds.Plug the dryer back into the electrical outlet.Remove and ReplaceAttempt to power on the dryer to see if it resumes normal operation. These steps are designed to address common power-related issues with LG dryers. Long Time Drying Towels

What is best setting for towels. Just purchased. Taking a long time to dry.

reply from LG

Hi. Thanks for reaching out about your LG Dryer. Towels are one of the heaviest, most absorbent items you can dry, so the settings you choose make a big difference in how long the cycle takes. Your note about extended dry times helps show exactly what you’re seeing with your new LG unit. For the best results with towels, LG recommends using Heavy Duty, Towels, or Normal with High Heat, depending on your model. This page offers helpful guidance on cycle use and drying performance: https://www.lg.com/us/support/help-library/lg-dryer-electric-laundry-is-not-drying-well--20154774023740 To allow us to properly investigate the details of your specific product model and to see how we can assist with your drying‑related issue being encountered, please send us an email at lgdigitalcare@lg.sprinklrsupport.com if you need further assistance. We're sorry to hear about the issues you've been experiencing with your LG dryer. It's definitely frustrating when an appliance doesn't function as expected, especially so soon after purchase. It's positive that you've already had two technician visits to address the problem, but it's unfortunate that the issue hasn't been resolved yet. If you need further assistance, you may send us a private message on Facebook or X (Twitter) at @LGUSSupport, and we will be happy to accommodate you.

Nice dryer

I use the sensor dry side and it dries well and turns off when it detects clothes as dry. Wonderful feature.
