[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This LG unit replaced a Fisher & Paykel (no longer made with the same high capacity). We have been very, very disappointed in the slowness and incompleteness of the various drying cycles. In LG's quest for energy efficiency, it has manufactured a lesser product for a higher price. The light inside goes off prematurely after it is open. The touchpad with so many complicated settings will likely fail prematurely because electronics and heat do not harmoniously live together; much better to have dials and switches. The positioning of the control pad is made for people of short stature, not tall people who must hunch over to read and program the needed buttons.

We had an older (2017-ish) model of this washer & dryer. Recently moved to a home and decided to leave them behind, but loved them so much that we just bought the newer version. They've been perfect thus far. Easy to use, does a great job with washing and drying, plenty of cleaning options without being overwhelming. Definitely recommend.

So, I went back to LG this time around and couldn’t be happier. I love the AI feature that syncs the dryer to the washer to determine cycle settings. I also love the app; it reminds me when the dryer is done so my clothes don’t sit. I also feel like it’s much more accurate in how long to dry compared to my last dryer. Things dry much faster. Thanks LG! You have a loyal customer.

They lasted pretty long and had no major issues until recently, especially with the washing machine. I find LG brands to be very reliable. That's why I bought a brand new set. The dryer is awesome as you can use your phone to see in real time action. It has a cool music at the end of the drying task. The buttons are easy to understand as well.

My husband likes the "steam fresh" setting to freshen up hoodies that have been in a drawer for awhile also great for getting out wrinkles! No more ironing but who irons anymore. I love the sing songy tune it plays when it is done, The washer does it as well. Great dryer thank LG

Have only had the dryer hooked up for one day and a couple of loads but the link with the Thinq app is great. I knew the dryer was venting as I tedted it before I hooked it to the ductwork. After hooking it up there was no exhaust at the outdoor grate - lint dam! I was able to use the remote start feature on yhe phone app to go in the crawl space and disassemble the ductwork while starting and stopping the dryer to locate the blockage. We also purchased the matching washer that links with the dryer. and the washer tells the fryer what setting to use

I have noticed the following; it is very fast, it is quiet, it has has more settings than I can imagine. I’m still debating the purpose of the steam feature. However it does seem to hasten the drying time and the clothes smell great. The lint capture is so effective that almost no lint reaches the outside vent. In a month I haven’t cleaned the outside vent once. So far very pleased and the the fact that it is built 50 miles from Nashville in Clarksville, Tn is a huge plus.

Used the steam setting on husbands jacket that had hung in closet for several years. You would have thought it came back from the dry cleaners.
