The dryer will not dry a load no matter what options are selected. LG requires that I pay an additional professional to come out, inspect the vent and certify in writing that the vent is clear and installed correctly (which it is, it was just professionally installed). The dryer I replaced dried fine with the same vent configuration. Then, after I pay and submit the certification, they may think about repairing or replacing the defective BRAND NEW dryer. The dryer also lacks any customizable cycle features; my old dryer allowed me to create my own cycle, such as medium heat, extra dry and sturdy fabrics. They offer some downloadable options but they are limited and must be downloaded every time. AND, the remote start option is a joke. To run the remote start option, you have to set the dryer to remote start AT THE DRYER every time? Who designs these machines?

We were replacing a pair of LG washer and dryer which we have had for 13 years. This dryer does a great job of drying the clothes and bulky items like comforters. The old dryer was still leaving items damp and was starting to make noise like the rollers need to be replaced. The new dryer is very quiet

Great look, quiet, easy setup minus the fact I didn’t realize the plug is based on age of the house/wiring - so this delayed my setup. I also didn’t put 5 star because I can’t figure out how to balance out the legs as they are not the same as the washer and the tool did not work.

I had to get the dryer converted from NG to LP. When the dryer comes on it is extremely loud! Sounds like a blow torch. The appliance guy told me that this is a known issue with LG dryers. I wish I had known that before I bought it. The dryer I replaced was quiet. Don't understand why LG doesn't fix this issue.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love love love the steam cycle on this dryer, it’s so convenient to refresh clothing when you live in a hot climate since 5 minutes in the humidity can leave one less than fresh. It saves wear and tear in clothes, too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have this Dyer about 2 months now and find it very uncomplicated. With many features to choose from you can select your drying time by type of garments and let the machine run. The sensors will shut down the dryer if the garments are dry before the cycle time elapses and the steam function helps cut down on static and wrinkles.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had the drier a couple weeks so I can't speak for its longevity and reliability but so far it's good. It seems fairly efficient and has lots of cycles and options. It seems a little small for the size washers that match it so things often come out a bit tangled and wrinkled. I'm still working through figuring out what all the different cycles do and which ones work best. I do like the way it looks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this dryer and the matching washer. The washer is amazing. The dryer is terrible. The first one we got didn’t heat up at all. The second one we got destroyed our clothes with the known lint trap problem that catches the clothes and tangles them then tears them when they get free. The lint trap is POORLY designed and barely catches any lint at all instead when you open the door lint comes out everywhere, then when you pull the lint trap to empty it there’s nothing in the trap because it gets “cleaned off” and it falls deep into the dryer which is scary from a fire standpoint. Since this is a known issue for quite some time, that I discovered AFTER I believed Consumer Reports and purchased it. LG needs to do the right thing and redesign the lint trap. After our second one we switched to a different brand and are very happy!

I've had it a few weeks. So far it's drying adequately and I was pleased with the bedding setting that allowed me to get my comforter dried in much less time than my previous dryer. I wish the light would come on whenever I opened the door. I'll never need or use most of the high tech features.

After researching the reviews, we decided on this one. It has performed wonderfully well for us and we love it! Lots of choices for settings too.
