Recommend this Laptop. This the second one I have purchase. The first one I changed out for 32 megs of memory and have no issues. For 3 years. Just purchased another one for wife since her existing one just started to die. She likes it.

The computer is great -- registering for the 2-yr HP Care Pack is not!!!!! The code on the paper in the box is invalid and customer support is only available during a small window of the day, no weekends. Very disappointed!

Great price, the shipping packaging was not as protective as expected. However it arrived in perfect condition.

This laptop is a great, large-screened system for everyday use. So far, it has been nothing but fast, especially startup and shutdown. The only downside so far has been storage: 512GB isn't quite large enough for my needs, but I saw in other reviews that there is an empty bay inside the laptop for a second hard drive. However, I have not been able to get any drives to connect, even with the specific HP drive kit. I don't know if this is a specific issue with my laptop, or with this model, but it has been very frustrating.

Nice computer!!!! It's lightweight, fast, has a good keyboard and I bought mine on sale, so I got a pretty good deal on it. The only thing I have an issue with is the sound quality. I can barely hear it sometimes even when the volume is turned all the way up and I don't have a hearing problem. Someone mentioned the CPU fan doesn't work. It's quiet and doesn't make a sound so you may want to consider using a "Chill Mat" when using the laptop to prevent overheating. Overall, a good purchase.

The computer came with a 2 year HP Care plan, it took over 3 calls with HP on the phone each time for 45-60 minutes and 2 calls with Sam’s Club to get to someone to help with registering the care plan, no one knew what to do, the website listed on the enclosed card is invalid to register, only after flipping on HP could we get it registered-which took over 2 weeks to get resolved—beyond frustrating

I ordered this computer for my son as he needed a PC for his computer science classes. It came without a charger so he purchased one separately. Now the computer won't boot up and he's only had it 3 months. Also the trackpad never worked. We have been given the runaround with Sam's and HP. Neither one will claim responsibility. So it appears the warranty is bogus. We believe someone bought this computer, returned it, kept the charger and then Sam's failed to do a quality check before sending it to my son. That's the only thing that made sense. I will NEVER purchase a computer from Sam's again. They do not stand behind their products!
