[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Immediately noticed a huge brightness increase transitioning from an older OLED. Software is refreshingly good. Appreciate the options to remove and disable apps I do not need on the home screen. Refresh rate is fantastic.

However, there is a something over time that causes a judder to happen at regular intervals and the only way to fix is hard reset. There is no way to kill apps or hard reset the TV. This is a reason to NOT buy the TV, regardless of its color/contrast. Low quality content (less that 1080p) scaling is mediocre.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Beautiful picture, upgraded from 65” to this 77” and we thought it would take some time to get used to but nope perfect from day one. The platform for streaming works well and is easy to use. Definitely would buy again.

The next gen tv after I bought this one doubled the brightness and wish I would have waited for the newer model. When using apps like hbo and disney+ that uses higher streaming the picture blows me away! As far as youtube and sling apps it is like "I could have been okay with qled". Upscaling for the ps2 is amazing and the graphics are smooth! The ps4 graphics are great too. I need to upgrade to ps5 and would imagine that would be great. Contrast and sharpness is true to colors. I just usually use the automatic colors or let the wife chose.

From the colors to the brightness levels to the picture perfect black levels the Samsung s90d is indeed one of the best quality pictures I've ever seen. If TVs can get any better than this it will be hard pressed and a very impressive feat just to see it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] No complaints about the picture quality. It's fantastic. But I have to say, I much prefer the LG oled user interface and remote. Apps are not as responsive. More often than on lg, apps won't open. There's no straightforward way to close apps or reset them. I also miss the cursor feature on the LG remote. All these complaints are secondary though since a tvs picture quality takes precedent.

I would give it a 3.5 but not strong enough for a 4. The processor speed is very fast, that's the strongest pro for this TV. The TV has vibrant colors and is clear. I do wish it had modes for watching movies like they were intended. While watching some content on streaming apps, the ability to tone down the color is grayed out and you just have to watch it with the settings the TV wants. It would also be nice if it could have a different trigger word other than Bixby. My phone keeps picking up my questions rather than the TV. It's so annoying I'll just use the remote manually. It's a good TV for the sale price. One other thing that is not an immediate issue, but the plastic in the stand and what they hook to on the back of the TV looks very cheap. I swear it looks like it will randomly snap one day and the TV is going to faceplant off its shelf onto the floor. The two legs look stressed at the hook up points, but I have no other option than to use them.

Also, the contrast and upscaling is very forthcoming to a very modified version of modern television.

We paired it with an audio system because the tv speakers are good for casual watching but do not do a movie or sports experience justice. We've had other brands of tv but it's difficult to find anything that compares to higher end Samsungs.
