We bought this after realizing our old generator would no longer start. It had all the features we wanted like dual fuel sources, electric remote start, and capacity to run most of our home in an emergency. All this and I felt the price was right on point.

I bought this July 13th This Baby weighs over 200 LBS ITs actually Beautiful for a big machine as this. The problem is I'm waiting for a friend to HELP me get it set up. I'm 78 yrs old and I cannot lift this weight to Put the wheels on without help, otherwise it looks good for now.

I just recently bought this Westinghouse house portable generator and I was very surprised of its size as reading the the instructions, the power that it has the build of it. How the easy it was to locate all of the functions and switches of this generator. It's just an overall great build machine. Haven't had an opportunity to use it. thank God but I did a test run it and runs pretty smooth, Pretty quiet and it did work as as described

I am just through the break in period. The generator seems very well built and thought out. I really like the versatility of the 3 fuel options. My only con so far is under 40% load you hear a little what sounds like valve tapping. I did check the valve lash and it was spot on. I hope that it improves.

This generator is perfect for our household needs. Easy to assemble out of the box, plenty of power, has tri-fuel options, and even has a remote start (just a bonus.) My last generator died after last hurricane season, so now I’m feeling more prepared in case I need to use it.

Box came slightly beat up, but nothing that impacted the unit. It is heavy, took 2 guys to get it into my SUV and moving it before the wheels were attached was a chore! However the unit looks and feels solid. Started right up after following the setup instructions. No information on break-in, but looked it up on the internet, run 1 hour no load, change the oil and repeat, then run with a load of no more than 50% for an hour. I could not locate any break-in information on the WestingHouse website, and it was extremely difficult to locate parts, like spark plug and air filter. Finally found the spark plug part number and ordered them, got regular oil for the break-in and synthetic for later, but have yet be able to order an air filter. I like to have parts on hand for the future. In my research this unit got great reviews and so far the unit is living up to those reviews. Will be testing it out on running the whole house after the break-in. If I remember I will update this review with those results, which I expect to be glowing! Will see about adding photos and video of the break-in and initial load run. Love the 50amo lug, remote start, battery charger plug in and the ability to put in auto switch over. Hoping the auto start works like the stand bye generators as this is for my daughters house and I would like her not to have to do the breakers and start the generator during a storm.

Whenever removing it from the box and setting it up, I follow the instructions added oil, added fuel, connected the battery for the starter got the unit running for a few seconds, and it would shut off, after further troubleshooting and research I ended up discovering the white wire on the harness For the carbon monoxide sensor was disconnected, made connection with the matching disconnected wires and ran with no issues

Unit arrived yesterday and I uncrated it and put wheels and front stabilizers on and filled with oil. Hooked up propane this morning and unit fired up nicely with remote and then again with start switch! NO MORE PULLING ON CORD!!! I ran it for about ten minutes and shut it down. Ran smoothly and sounded similar to a pushmower. Love it.

Just purchased. Assembly was easy and it fired right up solidly built and should work great.
