Well Made Generator

Ready for hurricane season! Received new generator this week. Assembly was a breeze. Instructions were great. Nice solid unit and wheels make it easy to maneuver and I’m sure the push button start will be a blessing when the wind and rain are in full force.

Excellent, but no meter for power draw!

Overall EXCELLENT, just one flaw, see below. I bought and tested this with gasoline and propane and it works flawlessly. Easy to switch from one fuel to the other. I used a transfer switch outside the home and it powered up my 3 ton AC and everything else in the home, including the pool pump with no problem. It slowed down when I tested trying the clothes dryer, but I would never during an outage. ONLY ISSUE is that it does not have meter to tell you how much power is being drawn!!! So you have to let it trip or ....????? Other useless info like frequency on the meter!

WGen10500TFc

My parents bought a Westinghouse 6500, and had to use it last year after a hurricane. They used it for 1 week and was easy for them to operate as they are in their 80’s. I used have a Troy built, but decided to upgrade to a Westinghouse that had a self start and could operate everything in my house. We are going to have an electrician run the line so it can be hooked to the house for when we need it. Have already started it and runs a lot quieter than my old one. My sister and her husband have also purchased a Westinghouse when they experienced the ease of operation.

The Cat's Meow!

What a great generator! I did my diligent research, and by far the Wgen11500TFc had everything I needed. At 73 years old, I managed to set it up by myself with a little effort. It sure beats my old 5K Coleman with no wheels and a pull start. I hope I do not need it for another two-week power outage.

Great Generator

I recently purchased this generator after my old one failed, and I couldn't be happier with my decision. This model is incredibly reliable and has more than enough power to run my entire house, including essential appliances like the refrigerator, heating system, and lights. Its quiet operation is a bonus, allowing me to maintain a sense of normalcy during outages. The setup process was straightforward, and I appreciate the user-friendly interface. Overall, if you're in the market for a dependable generator, you will not be disappointed with this one—it truly exceeds expectations in performance and efficiency.

Very impressed with the build quality

Packed with features and well built. Previously owned generators from other manufacturers employed a number of problematic plastic parts, such as the gas tank and cheap, leaky plastic fuel line parts, such as the fuel shutoff valve fittings. This has a steel gas tank and proper fuel line components, giving me confidence in its safety.

Missing generator registration card

I bought this two days ago. I am happy. The only thing that’s missing is the owners manual and I believe there is supposed to be some sort of spark plug wrench and it’s supposed to come with some sort of a dongle for remote start I did not get that But it does start up. I’m not gonna be putting gas in it. My purpose was to run this from propane, so I don’t have to deal with a generator that falls out on gasoline and be dealing with a generator that’s hard to start during a hurricane season with bad gas And fuel stabilizer

Sturdy Build - Lots Of Features

By all appearances this is a very well built generator with options to run off of gasoline, propane or natural gas. Since I have only had the unit for a few days it will take awhile to fully evaluate this generator, but I am impressed so far. One note if you are running this on gasoline be sure to turn on the flow control valve located near the carburetor . I overlooked this at first and I thought I had a problem but once I turned that valve on the generator fired right up.

All in One Disaster Relief

We been looking for an alternative for Powerwall batteries for our home since we have solar panels, but the cost was astronomical. The Westinghouse Generator Model WGen10500TFc Tri fuel was our ideal solution for the price and performance. We were confused and surprised when we got the upgraded version of the generator seaming it was a mistake but looking closer, we were opted in for the FREE UPGRADE, which generous of them since the tornado season is kicking up. All in all, we were glad and thankful for the generator arriving on time and upgrade since tornado season is around the corner.

Westinghouse Generator 13500 TF

I chose this generator specifically because it runs on Natural Gas (NG), which allows me to power my household without relying on gasoline. Avoiding the hassle of fuel shortages and the uncertainty of finding gas during emergencies was a top priority for me. During the break-in and testing period, the generator performed flawlessly and handled my home’s electrical load without issue. I highly recommend it to anyone considering a reliable backup power source. Just be sure to conduct a proper load study beforehand to ensure the generator you choose is the right fit for your needs.
