This is my third generator and it really shines for both a stand by home unit and as a work generator for job-site tool use. I love multi-fuel capabilities and the auto start/remote start feature. My other two are gas only with recoil start and this new "Westy" is gonna spoil me!

I ordered the Westinghouse Generator and it arrived in 2 days. Everything was exactly as the ad promised, Less than 30 minutes to remove from the packing and 20 minutes to “start-up”. I chose this brand and model to be able to power my home when we lose power. I wanted something that I could also use for a travel trailer. Initial setup was very simple and took very little time. It shipped with a bottle of oil in the exact tank capacity. Once the oil was in and I poured in some gas it started right up. Very quiet while it was running. The remote fob was easy to setup and controlled the start and stop easily. The unit is very easy to roll around with the large no flat and wide tires.

We have been having more frequent power outages, so I was looking at generator options. I researched standby and portable generators and decided to get the WGen10500TFc. I chose a tri-fuel so I could use natural gas. The generator was well packed and shipped on a small pallet to prevent damage from shipping. I was easy to assemble by simply putting on the feet and wheels. It came with a funnel to add the oil. I connected the natural gas line and it took a couple auto auto-start cycles to purge the air out of the included 25-foot gas hose. After letting it warm up for a few minutes, I tested the 120V outlets with a 1700W heat gun and it barely fliched with the load. An electrician is coming in a week to upgrade my electrical panel with a 50AMP inlet. I will be ready for the next storm!

Recently purchased/picked up this generator for emergency whole house back-up of electrical power should it go out. We live in southeast Georgia and start of hurricane season is fast approaching and needed a back-up electrical source. Generator is sturdy and heavy and can operate on three (3) different types of fuel, which I really like. Owner/User Manual is pretty simple to read/comprehend and features on generator are excellent. So far generator operates as advertised/expected.

Recently had a multi day power outage and with trying to keep my food cold or frozen I also had the new task of navigating dialysis with no power. I decided to get the wgen10500tfc after that. It starts like a dream has a large tank capacity/runtime and one of my favorite features is it will run on natural gas. Hopefully I won’t use this generator much but knowing it will start and give me plenty of power is reassuring.

Unit has not been used intended yet. I unboxed and assembled per instructions. Started right up as expected and sounds fine. Verified output with dvm and ran a few power tools to verify operation. Build quality appears excellent and I haven't seen a documentation package this complete in quite some time. Well done.

I bought this particular generator over any other, specifically because it has a very low THD %. Beyond that, it has all the power needed for an entire house including two air conditioning units (2 and 2.5 ton) and anything else you can throw at it. I fired it up for the first time, running on propane, and it started up right away, all ports working as they should. This is a beast of a machine and hope to not have to use it, but am confident that if and when the time comes, my family will be just fine!

We purchased this generator after losing power twice in two weeks during the CA fires. SCE turned off our power even though we were not even remotely close to any fires. We had an electrician prepare the connection for our electric panel. Now we feel more prepared in case of an emergency. We picked generator because it can run off or gasoline, propane or natural gas. Have not used it yet.

Received this within a week after a few major storms in our area. I am a first time buyer of a portable generator after all of these years. Crazy to think right.... especially living in Texas. I did extensive research on portable home generators and Westinghouse was at the top of the list each time. I unpacked this jewel yesterday. It weighed a bit but I managed to assemble with no issues. Assembly was simple. You're only assembling the feet with bolts / nuts and wheels which are a pin, washer and cotter pin. I'm confident in its ability to do what it is supposed to do based on previous buyers / reviews. This is a well built product and solid all around. Glad to support a brand that has been around for generations!
