We just used our generator for Hurricane Francine. We were able to power up our refrigerator, freezer, window unit, a fan and several smaller things. It work wonderful. Very easy to use and started up like a charm. Very pleased with this generator. We used gas, but had propane on standby in case we ran out.

Even though we haven't had to use the generator for emergency purposes at this time, it certainly meets quality of easy to read instructions, well built and sturdy, and love the triple selector. The pull-out extended handle makes moving the generator incredibly easy. So very happy.

I have been looking into a portable generator for over three years now. We had an extended outage (5 days) back in January 2021 after an ice storm. I wanted something that could power most of our appliances, was easy to hook up and would run off natural gas. After much research and looking at reviews I settled on the Westinghouse Tri-Fuel 10500 model. Now we will be ready for that next winter power outage.

We bought this generator to be prepared for any power outages that may occur in the future, after losing all our food a couple of months previously. We were excited to find a tri- fuel to run off natural gas, with a remote. The plumber hooked up the gas and the electrician hooked our house up to the generator. When trying it out the first time, it started right up! The plumber and electrician both think highly of this generator. We recommended it to my sister, and she also bought one. We are now prepared (prayerfully) for future power outages and thankful for Westinghouse Tri-Fuel generators. Another plus is that we do not have to go looking for gasoline to fill up a generator, since it hooks up to natural gas and it starts with a remote!

Upgraded from a 9500 watt to this 11500 watt unit just because I wanted the extra power to run our whole house, and it does a suburb job! Actually the WGen 9500DFc does a fine job as well, runs our heat pump/AC unit with a soft start I installed just fine. Happened to find this 11500 unit at a good price still in the box and purchased from an individual close to where we live. Great buy and glad we found it! Apears to be a good solid unit with good features and expect it to last us a long time!

I bought it for use in a fairly remote area where grid energy is disrupted quite often. The tri-fuel options should give me peace of mind because I am connected to a natural gas line and I also have L.P. gas and just in case, I always have non-ethanol gasoline on hand for my mowers and other equipment. I followed all instructions , filled the crankcase with oil , and it fired right up with the battery remote. The delayed starter puzzled me at first ,but then realized it was supposed to do that . I only ran it so far on a connected 20 lb. L.P. tank ,but it powered all the electric power tools I tried so far with ease. I have yet to put gasoline in the tank , but that will be done when I get it to where I plan to be installing it - also hooking up to the natural gas. But so far I really like what I've seen.

Had a Firman 7500W but needed larger unit to handle more capacity. I'd give it a 5 star if it had the little extra perks and touches that Firman includes. ie: rubber weather shields over switches, a 30 amp 4 outlet plug adapter. Other than that it runs quieter and appears to be well made. The next power outage will be the big test.

I live an area where the power goes out frequently. So I have to set up the generator frequently. I love how easy it is to wheel outside, plug it in to my breaker box and push the remote button to turn it on! I have a lot of meat in my deep freezer, so this generator has paid for itself. Saving the food in my freezer and refrigerator is a cost effective and logical reason for the generator but it's also very nice to be able to turn on my lights while my neighbors are stumbling around their houses with a flashlight. Solid product!

This is the second Westinghouse generator I’ve owned. The 9500 Pro worked great but I wanted tri fuel capability. The natural gas power rating delivers nearly the 12,000 max watts possible on a 50 amp 240v circuit. Now I’m feeling a bit more confident heading into hurricane season.

Purchased one identical, began the break in period, ended up not starting. Westinghouse support was very patient and after checking off the troubleshooting list, it was returned to the retailer where a replacement was ordered and received. Replacement runs great.
