We bought this last year due to all the storms here in the HOUSTON area. The ease of having multiple fuel options is my favorite. We tied the generator into our electrical panel with a 50amp outlet. Also, added a natural gas valve next to our water heater. We are set up well now this this amazing generator that has enough power to run the whole house.

Bought to use for emergency. Works perfectly with propane. Easy to setup and start first time. It seems to be very well built and the quick disconnect allows quick change of energy source. Just hooked it up to both power and gas have not tested as yet. Hopefully, they will send me my free cover

I purchased this generator with the hopes of never needing to use it but if and when I do I know it will power my whole home without issue. I purchased this tri fuel generator because it's better to have options and you never know what may be easy or difficult to get fuel wise. It's built to last forever and I plan to have it that long. Purchased the WGen 10500TFc and it was a Great Buy!! Packing was quality upon arrival. The generator was in pristine condition and the craftsmanship screamed "High Quality" Completed a test run hook up for our 1700sq.ft home and it worked like a champ. It powered our 1 HVAC Unit, 2 refrigerators, garage door opener, lights, laptops, without any hesitation or amperage overload. I would recommend the Tri-fuel version due to a shortage of options finding a working gasoline station within our hurricane prone area. A Highly Recommended Purchase!!

I had very high hopes for this generator due to the high power output, tri-fuel, and low THD. The delivery was perfect, and it appears to be a very solid and well built generator. Started it up (using propane), and it does run and produce power, but it has an odd rattling sound from the engine that just doesn't sound right. Contacted Westinghouse support, and of course they want me to take it to a service center to have it looked at. So now I have to figure out a way to transport this 230 lbs beast to a service center that is about 1 hour away, and then figure out how to get it back home after they diagnose and hopefully fix the issue. Another small issue I noticed is that the 120V GFCI outlets are very difficult to plug into due to the tamper resistant shutters. it takes several minutes of pushing a plug in a different angles, and then you still have to force it in. Hopefully it turns out to be a great generator, but it's not off to a good start.

Just purchased and assembly is easy once you can jack it up in order to install the wheels and resting pads. Hooked up to 20 gallon propane tank and first attempt backfired. Second attempt fired right up. Ran smooth and only plugged in a box fan and a halogen light. Have an electrician coming to install a 50 amp wall plug and plumber running a 3/4 in natural gas line. Love the features and no more messy gas cans and draining fuel after shutdown. The battery charger is nice since this will sit for long periods. Looking forward to receiving my free cover

I’m truly impressed with the WGen11500TFc generator. The build quality is outstanding—it feels solid and built to last. As a novice, I appreciated how straightforward the assembly process was, thanks to the clear and detailed instructions provided. To my relief, it started up effortlessly on the very first try with gas. While I haven’t had the chance to test all the features yet, I’m excited about its capabilities. That said, I hope it remains a reliable backup that I’ll never have to put to the ultimate test. Highly recommend this for peace of mind!

I bought this generator b/c I had another brand with almost as much power, BUT found out it’s THD was ~ 22%!! (Explains why my home electronics didn’t like it & UPS would alarm). THIS Westinghouse is advertised to have < 5% Total Harmonic Distortion (almost as good as inverters advertising < 3%). Happy to be able to watch TV now when the power is out now! I also like the easy access to the battery (competitor model had a panel in the way), appreciate the quick connect/disconnect for the battery to keep it from going flat so fast, and they even included a trickle charger/maintainer with a simple port to plug it into in case you just want to leave it ready-to-go! Good job Westinghouse!
