Ready out of the box

After watching numerous videos on Westinghouse generator on You Tube and all were positive I decided to go with Westinghouse 13000 tri fuel. Couldn't beat the price compared to others that were about he same watt. Easy set up. Just got it a day ago and haven't used it yet. Fingers crossed. There is one brewering.

Tri-fuel is so versatile in a power outage!

I was pleased to find this Tri-Fuel generator. I had a Dewalt 7000 that only used gasoline and in the last power outage that lasted a week I had to find fuel every 8-10 hours. Now with the NG or propane fuel hookup and lines provided it can be hooked up to the house for non-stop use.

Beast of a generator!

As of June 2023, this along with one other brand is the largest tri-fuel available. This one is nearly 1k cheaper than it's competitor. This thing is a beast! Capable of running both my 2.5 ton HVAC's at the same time. I did install soft starts on both to help the current draw. Run a disconnect to your breaker panel and a 1/2" gas line off your meter and you're good to go. No reason to pay 15K+ for a generac!

Does the job

Had a Firman 7500W but needed larger unit to handle more capacity. I'd give it a 5 star if it had the little extra perks and touches that Firman includes. ie: rubber weather shields over switches, a 30 amp 4 outlet plug adapter. Other than that it runs quieter and appears to be well made. The next power outage will be the big test.

Exactly what we needed

We bought this generator after 3 power outages in a month at our house. This is one of those adult purchases you dread to make but necessary. We’ve since been so thankful for that piece of mind knowing we’ll be covered. Lo and behold we lost power again and it worked like a charm! Easy to use! We upgraded in size just to have the assurance we could run everything we need to run. It’s tri-fuel but we only plan on using gasoline for now. Thankful to have other options if needed though! It’s easy to move and looks clean. No complaints here! Definitely reccomend.

Easy to assemble and start

The generator is easy to finish assembly. Two of us did the work, but it could be done by one person. We did not use the directions to do the assembly it was intuitive as to where the parts were attached. If I were to suggest improvement I would give the approximate. amount of oil required to fill the engine. I could not find it in the directions and did a lot more checking on the dipstick. The generator is now running in my backyard for break-in. When the wiring is done it will be moved to a permanent location.

Wgen11500tfc

Just received the generator to power home when power goes out. Unboxed today and everything was packaged well. Completed the first start up and it started on first try and ran perfectly. I would definitely recommend at this point but have not fully used at this time. Will update if there are any issues.

Finally arrived!

I recently purchased the Westinghouse WGen11500TFC Tri-Fuel Generator, and it’s been fantastic. With 11,500 peak watts, it easily powers my essential appliances during outages. The tri-fuel capability (gasoline, propane, natural gas) is a game-changer, ensuring I always have a fuel source. The electric start is convenient, and the built-in CO sensor provides peace of mind. While it’s a bit heavy, the wheels and handle make it portable. The noise level is reasonable for its power output. Overall, this generator offers excellent performance and value, making it a solid investment for anyone needing reliable backup power. Highly recommended!

Tri-fuel 13500W generator

Bought this following our Bomb Cyclone in November. I have not used it yet but the machine feels like a quality product. Controls are well marked and seem easy to use. Oil port and drain are easy to access. Hoping we won't need it for a while but looking forward to trying it out. Planning on hooking to natural gas so no refueling during our 4+ day outages.
