Lots of features and power

The unit was difficult to start initially. After getting it started, however, it has been running well. Broke engine in for about five hours total and it is running very smoothly. The battery seemed low initially (it has been fairly cold) and after hooking up the tender to it for a few hours it seemed fine.

Remote Control

Just purchased this generator to replace a Hobart Welding Generator. This Westinghouse has more power and will be quite sufficient to power my entire house. Just put in oil and gas and remote started several times. Have not powered home yet......and hopefully not anytime soon. I live in the south (Louisiana) and a generator is a must!!! I'm excited to try this when the power is out.

Small but Powerful

If you are looking for a small and powerful generator that delivers reliable performance, the Westinghouse is a top tier choice. This compact unit packs a serious punch, offering an impressive wattage output while remaining light weight and portable.

well designed

i bought this generator in with the hopes that it will power my grandfathers life support systems in the event of a power outage. its well above the power that i need for that but the features will make it very easy to operate and maintain. the options for fuel and the ease of switching between them are very easy and convenient because you never know what will be available during the time of need. i hope i never need it but i look forward to using it.

Lights On and AC too

I purchased this unit because of the ability to burn natural gas, propane ,or gas. The unit starts nicely and is well built. I have used multiple generators and this one is the easiest one to use. It runs the whole house including the AC and our well.

So far so good!

We bought this generator as a replacement for a new DuroMax Generator that failed us. This generator was easier to set up than the DuroMax. It started right up. We are ready for the next storm and will post a more thorough review after we've used it to power our home items during a power outage.

Best generator for high altitudes

I live in the mountains of Colorado. This generator runs clean and smooth. You do have to pick up the high altitude carburetor kit otherwise you 10,500 watt generator will be more like 6500 watts. I use all 3 fuels and it works great. Make sure you keep gasoline on hand, it starts a LOT easier with it. Not sure if it's an altitude thing, but he's a little stubborn starting with natural gas or propane. Start it with gas then switch to either natural gas or propane once it's warmed up. Starts right up with gas though. No problems there.

Features I was looking for!

Living on the coast of the Gulf of Mexico a generator is a necessity as hurricanes are a constant threat. I had a 5500 watt but was limited to the load I could put on it this generator will supply all the power I will need. I considered an all house generator but couldn’t justify the cost considering it could set for years without needing it. I will install a 50 amp connection to my incoming power along with an interlock breaker device to prevent back feeding the power company. A few of the features I liked are the electric start along with pull start, the battery disconnect plug, a charger/charging port for the battery.

Generator is a Beast!

Purchased with intent of utilizing as whole home emergency backup generator as we frequently lose power due to overhead lines. After break in and some initial testing I'm confident this generator will meet our needs. This is a well built, stout machine and while I I'd prefer not to have to use it, its a tremendous piece of mind knowing it will keep the house online in the event of an emergency. Particularly appreciate the fact the generator includes remote start, hoses to connect NG/Propane, stand-by charger, and oil to get started.

Ease of assembly and startup operation

I ordered the Westinghouse Generator and it arrived in 2 days. Everything was exactly as the ad promised, Less than 30 minutes to remove from the packing and 20 minutes to “start-up”. The generator started the first time I pushed the start button. I am very happy I purchased the WGen10500TFc Westinghouse generator
