I researched generators for a month and then settled on this one. No other company provides the same value for the numerous features that this generator has. I opened the box, put the wheels on and put the oil in. Hooked up the propane to it and it cranked up on the first try. I was pleasantly surprised at the noise level. Not as quite as an inverter generator, but not as noisy as most portable generators that I've had experience with. Bottom line, I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

I spent a lot of time reviewing different generators to power my whole house during an outage. I settled on this generator. The generator has the operator time, The power capacity that met my requirement. One of my requirements was that I did not have to get out of bed in the middle of the night to put gas in it which was pretty major requirement. So the 13 hour run time was very important.

Just got it! It was very easy to set up with clear quick start instructions. Love the 3 options. We went with propane and the hook up was easy and it started right up with the on board start button and also with the remote fab. The noise level is tolerable as well. This provides great peace of mind should the power go out.

I bought this generator in December to use as a back up for when power goes out because our place is all electric and I have no complaints about it so far, have a couple of things to figure out when using it first to make sure I’m doing it correctly, very easy to put together and the remote start is amazing!

We bought this generator recently, after reading online reviews. It was highly rated, by more than source. We set it up ourselves, and had it up and running in no time at all. We have occasional power outages in our area, and we now feel totally prepared to deal with them!

So I bought a couple of Westinghouse sump pumps on a whim, for another project. I was so impressed with the quality of these pumps, that when I saw they also had a line of portable generators, I knew one was calling my name. So I finally did it ! This year, bought the 10500TFc and couldn't be happier. Easy to setup, and I even ran it on propane for the 1st test run. I really like not having to use gasoline! Was a Christmas present from the family and I was truly blown away at how neat this thing was. Coming from a somewhat older generator that you plug a regular extension cord up to compared to this thing is unreal. My favorite part is the key fob, I can stand on my back deck and turn on the generator from close to 50 yards away!!

I purchased this generator after doing some extensive online research and it seems that the Westinghouse generator I was interested in won "hands down". I set it up as per the explicit instructions that were included and it started right up. It came with a key fob which also works flawlessly as does the generator. My electrician is coming to install an interlock on my circuit breaker panel which will enable me to start the generator from indoors and power up my entire home. Westinghouse has been in business for many years, is a household name and they build a quality product. Wgen10500tfc is the one to buy if you are undecided, you will be very happy with it!!!
