I was looking for a generator that runs on natural gas that I could connect directly to my house and not bother with gasoline. Also I can connect it directly to the house electrical system. The 10500TFC seems to fit the bill. It has all the features that I need.

I purchased this generator to supply power to our house due to increasingly common preplanned power outages by the energy company. I just finished assembling and testing this generator, and so far I'm quite pleased with the unit. Assembly was straightforward and the directions in the service manual were well written and clear. The onboard battery arrived pre-charged, so after adding the supplied oil, and connecting the generator to our propane BBQ tank with the supplied propane line, the generator started right up. Using a separately purchased 50amp rated power cord and manual transfer switch, we hooked the generator to the home's electrical, and started receiving good consistant power to the house. I'm quite happy with the generator and would highly recommend.

I bought this to be able to power my house in the event of a power outage. We recently had a hurricane in my area and the power was out for several days. I already had a portable generator, but found it very inconvenient to have to search for fuel when none of the gas stations or places that sell propane were open. I needed a solution that would allow me to use the natural gas I have at my house and that I could hook into my breaker box so I could power things in my house without having to run cords everywhere. I hired a contractor to help with hooking this up to my gas and electric and a couple of weeks after he left we had a power outage. I was able to quickly plug this into the breaker box and fire it up. I was able to run my A/C units and whatever lights I wanted to run. It is a perfect solution for me and was thousands less than a regular standby generator.

I purchased the WGen11500TFc after much research with the intention of running most of our house ( 2 story home ). So far it has surpassed my expectations from the shipping to the unpacking to assembly to operation. Starts immediately, works seamlessly and powers the entire downstairs including the 31/2 ton AC unit. As I increased the load, 2-3 circuits at a time, there was virtually no drag on the generator. I did not try the upstairs AC unit, which is 11/2 tons, while the downstairs unit was running. The surge on both would have probably put it over the max. It’s a little loud but the trade off is plenty of power for a good price.

I must say honestly this is by far superior in so many ways to my other generator. Westinghouse has out done themselves, today you rarely find a company or product that produces a finishes product like this WGen11500Tfc generator. They have made sure it is equipped with a CO sensor with auto shut down, push button remote start and shut off, built in VFT meter giving you important info during operation and so much more. It is built like a tank weighing approximately 230 lbs. Also TRI fuel capable which is awesome when things happen unexpectedly being able to use your BBQ propane tank if you cannot get gas right away is a huge advantage in my opinion. There are so many other features this Generator has that you need to look into if you are looking for a top-quality Generator with a long-time company reputation like Westinghouse. After researching inverter generators I found Westinghouse is rated very good by consumer reports. Electric panel and adjacent wiring almost complete. Everything I could need to operate in my house will be ready when the power goes out, and it will! I like that this is a tri fuel generator that gives me options!

Very well built generator, easy to assemble, reasonably priced, & love the versatility of fueling. Having lived in FL all my life, this will be the first year I’m able to supply whole power to my entire home, no more extension cords and humid aftermath for us! We’re ready for hurricane season and excited to put this bad boy to work!

Bought this to run my house during power outages. Wired a 50A external plug in my patio/deck for quick hook up. Completed the 5 hr break in period. Wanted to do a test run on my house so I shut off main breaker and plugged everything up. Long story short, will run my central heat and air (4 ton) and all my light and receptacles. So far I am very pleased. Very easy assembly and instructions.

I just received generator after ordering over a month ago , All is complete and easy to assemble . The one thing NOT mentioned in "start up procedure' was to TURN the BATTERY switch on . That had me going for a while . Also will remember to turn battery OFF when not running in storage as figure that over time without included charger the battery indicator light would run battery down .

Purchased less than a week ago. Went through multiple reviews. Settled on the 11500 model as it was most cost effective and also was a tri fuel platform. Have 3 100lb propane tanks that should keep the generator running for around a week and a half straight if needed. Got it home, tested it out after configuring a transfer switch. Pushbutton start worked like a charm and propane regulator and hose combo supplied with the unit had no issue. Unit fired right up and supplied power with no issue. My only complaint with the 11500 model is the engine does not have an oil filter. This is obviously a design feature/flaw. However, at the price I paid for it I can't really complain. I will be closely monitoring the longevity of the engine.
