I received this a few days ago. So far the assembly was easy and the Users Manual is well written. I have not been able to pair the remote start fob yet... when I follow the instructions the generator tries to start instead of going into pairing mode. Also, the "break-in" instructions need to be as obvious as all the safety warning tags. It was just a sentence kind of buried in the middle of the manual, and even then it only says to run under 50% capacity for the first 5 hours. If you want to prepare this to be ready for an extended heavy load during a power outage, you really need to complete the break-in immediately. I ran it in through 3 heat cycles, doing an oil change after the 1st hour, another cool down after 2 more hours, and then 2 more hours to reach 5 total, and doing one more oil change. I modulated loads periodically using variable 1500W a heat gun. Would have liked to add a space heater if I had one to load it closer to 50%.

This thing is a champ. The handle is perfect and makes maneuvering it on/off worksite easy, it has all the plugs and power output for any job or campsite I’ve been on . At home it has no problem powering our HVAC (2100 sq ft home), other appliances, tvs all at the same time and it’s super convenient to go from portable propane to base station natural gas at home using the 50 amp transfer switch. Remote start, super detailed owners manual, what else do you need!

I live in Florida and need a dependable generator to get us through the hurricane seasons. I have 2 older generators, but needed a generator with more modern safety features and build. After researching home generators I settled on Westinghouse WGen11500TFc. It has all modern features I am looking for plus the capacity to run most appliances in my house, long run-time and remote start. Generator was packaged very well. No damage whatsoever to the unit. Comes complete with everything you need to get up and running with ease. Very easy minimal assembly required. Excellent quality and craftsmanship. Very sturdy build. Very happy to see a large muffler on the generator - a weak point on older generators. I am not looking forward to any hurricanes next year, but piece of mind knowing I will have power to run the house and air conditioning is very important.

Purchased this generator about a month ago right after Helene. I have used it several times with Propane; started right up on first try. Remote start fob is great! In a power loss situation, I plan to run it off natural gas we have at the house and run the electrical service through a manual transfer switch. With the 50 amp service, I can run most of my house. Also with the 50 amp output, I can run my welder. Build quality is excellent. It is heavy duty and also heavy. Assembly instructions were straightforward. Shipping was fast and easy with a liftgate service. The operations manual and other maintenance literature definitely sets you up for success.

I Bought due to the fact I live in Florida and just moved into a new construction home for the two to three hurricanes we get per year. Very impressed with the Generator as well as all the accessories you get with it when you purchase it. Definitely top quality. I would recommend to anyone in need of a Generator

Purchased one identical, began the break in period, ended up not starting. Westinghouse support was very patient and after checking off the troubleshooting list, it was returned to the retailer where a replacement was ordered and received. Replacement runs great.

I’ve read a lot of reviews on these since the last hurricane hit Houston. I finally was able to buy one after a month of looking. It’s well built and started on the first try on propane. I look forward to having power the next time we lose it here in Houston.

No issues whatsoever with this generator so far. Ran all day on propane for initial start and flush of a well pump at 240V. Remote starter is both a convenience and a safety feature. Heavier than expected but unsurprising for a 10 kW unit. Some may need help moving, unpacking, and adjusting position for initial setup until the wheels are on, and may still need help wheeling on unpaved ground. Recommend developing an inflatable tire upgrade accessory.

I just bought this a few days ago and, looks to be made very well. Simple to assemble wheels and feet, I put the required oil in hooked up propane tank synced the FOB with the unit and it started right up no issues at all. ran so low voltage items and I am very happy with this Generator. Runs fairly quiet compared to other units
