Have only had the dryer hooked up for one day and a couple of loads but the link with the Thinq app is great. I knew the dryer was venting as I tedted it before I hooked it to the ductwork. After hooking it up there was no exhaust at the outdoor grate - lint dam! I was able to use the remote start feature on yhe phone app to go in the crawl space and disassemble the ductwork while starting and stopping the dryer to locate the blockage. We also purchased the matching washer that links with the dryer. and the washer tells the fryer what setting to use

Only one setting sort of works. I have to wash a (small) load every on the bedding setting .Even then it will show 7 minutes of drying time and a few minutes later it will show 19 minutes left. Soon after it will show 36 minutes. It takes half a day to dry a load of clothes. Towels and sheets end up being damp and I have to hang them to dry. If I try the heavy duty or normal cycle the dryer will run a few minutes, then stop, showing the d95 code. The dryer was installed correctly, the metallic ductwork is not bent or too long and the vent has been cleaned and is lint-free. Would not buy this product again.

I purchased this electric dryer a couple of weeks ago. It's stylish and works great. The only disappointment is that it only connects to a 2.4GHz wifi network and mine is 5.0GHz so it won't connect. Hopefully LG has a firmware update for that before long, as most networks are going 5GHz.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can get my laundry dry in a much shorter time than my old one since the old machine was not working any longer. However, it doesn't dry items completely, yet the cycle says it's finished drying. Delicates in particular don't dry completely. The instructions say to dry sheets on delicate, which I've done; however, when the drying cycle finishes, the sheets are still damp. I try running the delicate cycle again, hoping it will finish drying the sheets but again it finishes and the sheets are still damp. I finally use the "timed" cycle and a low heat setting, the sheets were dried. I have no idea why LG thinks you should put your sheets away damp??? I do like the large tub, the controls, with the various adjustments, the color, and the storage drawer. The storage drawer not only gives me the extra storage but also makes it a nice height. I do like the new dryer but I need to change how I dry things, I won't use the "delicate" cycle to dry sheets only longer.

All is good with the washer, for the price though I would’ve expected the readout screen to be a bit fancier than the digital watch I had in the 90s. The washer itself washes clothes well by putting soap and water on them, shaking them around a bit, and then rinsing the soap off them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought a new washer and dryer when we moved to Texas. Had an LG in previous state. Never a problem, so bought the newer LG here. Great product. So quiet. I also appreciate two new features. It detects when clothes are dry, so if the clothes dry before the time set, it stops. The second feature is, that at the end of the cycle, it plays a pleasant little music instead of annoying buzzer noise. Most of all, I have learned LG washers and dryers are top quality.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dryer dries our laundry quickly but also doesn't "cook" our clothes by getting too hot. I trust it with some of my thinner shirts and other items I used to let air dry. The steam function seems to work well for de-wrinkling my wife's cardigans. I have not tried to connect to the smartphone controls, and don't anticipate needing to use that feature. Two things to note: 1) when the gas kicks on it sounds like a blast furnace. Much louder than my old dryer, but our laundry room is out of the way so it doesn't annoy us. 2) In addition to purchasing a gas hose, you will need to purchase the adaptor/connector piece to actually connect the gas line to the dryer. It was a simple purchase from a local hardware store, but an extra trip I wasn't anticipating. Overall, love the dryer so far!

Quiet; dries items well--which is VERY cycle dependent. NOT ALL cycles can be individualized...for example, if one wishes to dry permanent press items on LOW heat INSTEAD of the programmed MEDIUM heat, one CANNOT do so on the permanent press cycle; one must use timed dry to select low heat OR use delicate. If once chooses delicate then the time is not quite right so one really must go to Timed Dry. I stated with the WASHER review that there was NO "Complete owner's manual" included with the data provided in the sealed plastic envelope inside the dryer drum. The Owner's Manual Dryer was there BUT the owner is directed to the website to obtain the 'complete' manual. I believe this is a poor decision on LG's part. LG is presuming that everyone who buys this product has CONSISTENT and RELIABLE internet service ALL the time; and that the purchaser wishes to download the LG app or go to the LG website for data. Troubleshooting data clear in the skimpy manual that is provided.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve had our new dryer for about a month and we love it. It’s easy to use and the variety of cycles gives us plenty of options. We love the large capacity - we used to have to take large blankets and comforters to the laundromat because our previous dryer couldn’t handle them but the new LG dryer can easily handle larger loads. It’s also very quiet. And it looks sharp too.
