Customer reviews for LG 7.4 cu. ft. Electric Dryer with TurboSteam forOrder elsewhere
Ordered AND PAID for LG washer and dryer on June 17. Sam's indicates product would be delivered on July 9. It is late August now and I have no product. I have been given many delivery dates and then the night before delivery they send a text to cancel. I called RXO, the delivery agent, and was simply lied to - "We will get this to you on Friday," Jean told me in mid-July. Carissa from Sam's emails that she apologizes for the delay and to have a good day. I have now been told that the product is being returned to LG and Sam's is not exactly sure why, but best guess is that RXO took too long to deliver. My Sam's account still indicates that my product is "on it's way." I have been a long time customer of Sam's, but this is a huge problem that Sam's Club is not taking any responsibility for - instead blaming the delivery agent, blaming LG.....I blame Sam's (I bought from Sam's) for not stepping in and fixing this issue. Sam's has had a large amount of my money since June 17 and they have not helped me get the product they promised to deliver nor offered me any compensation for being without my washer/dryer since the promised delivery date of July 9. I hope this warning keeps someone else from this incredible frustration.

Overall good dryer, but HORRIBLE experience
RXO delivered and installed the dryer. They came from over 3 hours away. I had to help carry the old one out and new one in. One of the delivery people did not speak English, so there was also a communication barrier. I never owned a steam dryer before so I didn't realize they did not complete the installation. They did not hook up the water supply or leave the parts to do it with or the dryer rack. They also used my old power cable for the dryer. I was suppose to receive a new one per the description on the website. I called RXO and they blamed it on LG and transferred me. LG said they would have to contact RXO and for me to call back in 5 days... LG refused to give me a ticket number or any sort of proof that I had an open case with them. They also did not speak very well english, so there was a communication barrier there as well. I had to Spell "Sams Club" 3 times when she asked where I bought the dryer from. At that point I decided to google corporate emails and email Sams, LG, and RXO since I was getting the runaround. Kenny from Sams reached out to me. LG never responded. Sams scheduled for RXO to come back 2 weeks later. I took another vacation day. RXO never showed. They apparently rescheduled the appointment but did not reach out to tell me. I had to call that day to find out, so I wasted another vacation day. I asked RXO if they would just ship me the parts that they essentially stole and they would not. I went and bought the parts myself and finished the install. I sent my proof of purchase to Kenny from Sams and he made everything right. He was in constant communication with me and kept me updated. I WILL NEVER BUY AN LG PRODUCT AGAIN AFTER THIS! Also if I buy another appliance and find out RXO is the delivery service, I wont get it. As for the dryer itself, it works great! My only issue with it is I can not get it connected to WIFI. I work in IT and still cant figure it out. Its not that big of a deal though so I'm just going to not connect it.
Company sucks
Everything about this company and their support services suck . They can't answer simple questions and very little english. That don't try to help.

Dryer has 1 job. Can't do it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Has 1 job. Doesn't do it. This dryer looks nice and has satisfying controls, but the dryer sensor doesn't work and it cuts off before completely drying a load. So instead of nice clean laundry, we have to contend with damp, mildewy surprise. It shouldn't be that hard to create a dryer that actually dries clothes.

Best dryer for family
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently replaced our gas dryer with the LG electric dryer and we are happy we did so.The LG dryer works faster, dries better and our clothes do not come out stiff. The steam feature is excellent and we have used it often for quick fresh ups. I am glad we made the switch to electric as I feel we spend less time drying clothes. The connectivity features are excellent and helpful so that we do not need to check when the clothes are dry; the machine tells us via our smartphone. The unit is neat and compact and fit perfectly in our laundry alcove along with the LG washer. Highly recommended.
In perfect sympathy with my washer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A perfect compliment to the washer which makes the set. For this to be a dryer, it is quite, yet effective. I enjoy the light that comes on when you first start the machine. In my experience, HE dryers do not dry clothes completely and this is right in alignment with that concept.
Lint trap a huge problem
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this dryer and the matching washer. The washer is amazing. The dryer is terrible. The first one we got didn’t heat up at all. The second one we got destroyed our clothes with the known lint trap problem that catches the clothes and tangles them then tears them when they get free. The lint trap is POORLY designed and barely catches any lint at all instead when you open the door lint comes out everywhere, then when you pull the lint trap to empty it there’s nothing in the trap because it gets “cleaned off” and it falls deep into the dryer which is scary from a fire standpoint. Since this is a known issue for quite some time, that I discovered AFTER I believed Consumer Reports and purchased it. LG needs to do the right thing and redesign the lint trap. After our second one we switched to a different brand and are very happy!

Airflow Sensory Failure D90 or D80
Less than year of use this dryer, keep constantly failing airflow sensor error code shows d80 or d90. Cleaned every corner, inside machine, including house duct systems, nothing works. I loved LG machines are reliable and last longer. I am not happy with technology advances it keeps failing the machine performance. According to LG’s quote “Life is good”, it is great, but my life is very miserable with broken or malfunctioned dyer at the house. Life is not so good! Before you buy the dryer, please don't get excited about advanced technologies, instead do your research and find reliable one that doesn't fail.

Wonderful dryer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought dryer and washer set and am very happy with purchase. Dryer does what it is supposed to do quietly and in timely manner. Purchased pedestal as well and enjoy the ideal height for loading and unloading.
Never worked
I purchased the dryer in early July. It hasn't worked yet after almost eight weeks. Warranty claim sent out twice. Last time tech came out was almost three weeks ago. Now dealing with Presidential Lison Team which yielded several texts and no action in over a week. Eight weeks without a dryer or resolution!
