Might save someone a fire hazard

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve only had it a week but seems fine. However , initially it was drying which is why we got rid of our old one. Researched troubleshooting on line which lead us to cleaning out the vent tubing. It was totally blocked and we got tons of junk out. All is well now,but I felt compelled to put out a warning for folks to check their dryer vent hoses a minimum of yearly. This could be a huge fire hazard. We were so lucky and will now add it to our calendar for a yearly check.

Hi Loom, thank you for sharing your experience with the LG DLE6100W Electric Dryer. We’re glad to hear it’s working well after the first week, and we really appreciate you highlighting the importance of checking dryer vent hoses. A blocked vent can absolutely affect drying performance and create a serious fire hazard, so your reminder is a valuable one for other customers. Adding a yearly vent check to your routine is a smart move. If you need further assistance, feel free to email lgdigitalcare@lg.sprinklrsupport.com. #LifesGood ❤️ LG Digital Care Team ^Rich

Specifications are incorrect.

I was excited when my LG washer & dryer were delivered today, however, extremely disappointed to discover that they didn’t have the convenience feature: “Remaining Time Display/Status Indicator” that had been listed in the specs. This was one of the reasons I bought these particular appliances, especially the dryer, since I like to know the time of the cycle so the clothes do not lay in the dryer to wrinkle when it ends. I was dismayed that although the LG specifications on line included these conveniences.

Horrible dryer

Dryer messed up at 11 months of owning it. Luckily it was still under manufacture warranty, got new motor, 3 fuses replaces, new screen and now the heat blower is messed up. Horrible to be paying for something that's didn't last. Washer has to be set on deep fill in order for tub to fill and clothes to be washed correctly. Never again LG.

great features and easy to use..

I purchased the washing machine earlier this year... at that time I was not in need of a new dryer... however, later this year to purchase the matching dryer only because I wanted to. It looks great next to washer and so far I feel that it is doing a great job!

Hi, there. Thank you for sharing your experience with the LG Dryer (DLG6101W) model. It’s great to hear that after purchasing the washer earlier this year, you decided to come back for the matching dryer simply because you wanted the full set. They really do look sharp side‑by‑side, and it’s wonderful that the dryer is already performing just the way you hoped. The Sensor Dry system and Smart Inverter motor help keep cycles efficient and consistent, which makes everyday laundry feel effortless. If you need further assistance, feel free to email lgdigitalcare@lg.sprinklrsupport.com. #LifesGood ❤️ LG Digital Care Team ^Juvy

Good product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dryer seems to take a great deal of time to dry the clothes. It seems more logical to me that when the machine is drying the Dry LED should be a solid illuminated, instead of a blinking light. Also, when using manual dry, it would be nice to have a timer showing time remaining for the selected cycle.

Efficient and overdue!

I bought this just over a month ago and have been so pleased with its performance. We bought this as a replacement to an old dryer that came with our home and wish we would have made the switch sooner. Its functionality is overall efficient For our busy lifestyle.

Save a sheet and find another dryer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When we first had purchased the dryer, we were excited to have something new. However after a few dry cycles and still currently happening, the clothes are never completely dry and the flow sense light is always blinking when it is not clogged. We paid full price barely a year ago and sadly to say we are very disappointed and beside ourselves for we are stuck with this dryer that doesn't dry.

Hi there. We understand you're not satisfied with the experience you've had with your dryer and would like to have a closer look into it. A flow sense warning indicator light can be caused by poor ventilation exhaust to the dryer. It illuminates to prevent reduced performance caused by exhaust system restrictions. It may be necessary to clean or replace the venting duct. We'd like to discuss this in more detail! Please reach out to us on social media (@LGUSSupport). Be sure to include your phone number and dryer info. in your private message to us (model and serial numbers). We'd like to ensure you get the best experience your dryer has to offer! ^Chris

Excellent Dryer!

The DLE6100W clothes dryer was a gift for my parents. It is a wonderful upgrade from their old dryer. It does a great job of sensing when the clothes are dry, as long as you don’t have a mix of heavy and light weight clothes. And you’are alerted by a very pleasant chime instead of a loud buzz. The dryer is also attractive with a modern minimalist look. My parents are extremely satisfied. So am I.

Hello! Ah, the DLE6100W, the superhero of dryers! 🦸‍♂️ Not only does it save the day by sensing when clothes are dry (no more guessing games with heavy and light fabrics!), but it also serenades you with a delightful chime instead of a heart-stopping buzz. Love to see it and know that you're enjoying this amazing LG dryer as you should and meeting requirements! Can't wait for you to try other amazing appliances we have on our LG.com website. Remember we are found in social media @LGUSSupport in case of any questions. ~Kimmy

A lemon?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although this DLE6100W dryer is advertised to be “Designed for quiet operation, run the dryer without interrupting naptime or your favorite show.,” it is definitely not quiet. The first load of laundry (medium size) that I tried to dry caused the dryer to shake and bang loudly. I recorded a voice memo of the sound and took it to the store where I purchased it, and the only explanation was that it must be “a lemon.”

Hi there, when the world of appliances leave a sour taste in your mouth like lemons. No worries, we make lemonade. We have a few questions? Has your dryer recently been installed? What type of noise are you experiencing? The noise could be from bad drum supports or from shipping bolts not being removed prior to install, and or the motor, rollers, bearings, blower wheel. Furthermore, we don't want you to fret. Please allow us the opportunity to help ease your pain of sleepless nap times. Please contact us via Facebook or X using the handle @LGUSSupport with the serial/model number and a good phone number so that we can solve the mystery of the wayward dryer singing a tune of annoyance all by itself fixed quickly. ~Tanisha
