I bought this dryer about two years ago. Last week I was drying some bedsheets, and I heard a racketing coming from the machine. I checked the machine and was shocked to see shards of glass spinning around with my bedsheets! This dryer is DANGEROUS! Unless you want shards and slivers of glass with your clothing, I would not buy this dryer.

The different settings allow me to adjust the time and heat temp so everything is dried correctly....and the amount of items that can be dried in one load is amazing. I would highly recommend this dryer to anyone.

Just purchased this unit. Decided to go with LG as a quality brand name. A little disappointed with a few aspects (maybe it's this model level) - there is no interior light; there is no last memory setting when the unit is turned back on (ie - always goes back to the sensory setting when we choose not to use this setting) and lastly it was a bit awkward attaching the dryer vent hose, as the the rear side of the dryer extends out so when we tried to tighten the clamp ring of the hose to the exhaust port, it was a little challenging due to the available angle to turn the screw on the clamp. These are comparisons to our prior dryer which was a Samsung. Bottom line is, would not have purchased this model if we knew there was no interior light. Will now see if if the overall quality of the brand name prevails.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always had good luck with all my LG products. Last LG dryer lasted 14 years! Still works but knocks a little so decided to buy a new one. Only thing I miss on new one is the interior light, other then that it’s great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've just had this dryer with the matching WM3400CW washer for a couple of weeks. So far we like them very much but there's an issue that needs to be mentioned. We have these stacked to fit in our laundry room. They replaced old Whirlpool machines. Due to the larger capacity and size of the LG machines, when they're stacked, the control buttons and digital panel for the dryer is 6 ft. 3 in. from the floor. For us, we are fairly tall, this is a minor inconvenience but for others that are shorter, it may be a major inconvenience.

I bought this 3 days ago and am very unhappy. It doesn't do the 1 thing it is supposed to do and that is dry clothes. The machine has almost total control over the selections you are allowed to make and they don't work. I wish I could return this machine but I am stuck.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a beautiful machine with a delightful little chime whenever you turn it on. I love the display as it's very easy to read. Every now and then though, I notice my load isn't completely dry, so I have to send it through another drying cycle.

We bought this gas dryer in February 2020. Tomorrow we will have a lg repair person come for the third time in less than 2 years. The drum in the dryer sounds and feels like the drum is ready to fly out of the dryer. At what point will lg offer a full replacement?
