[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased product this past summer. Both my washer and dryer were over 25 years old; when the washer quit working we had to replace it as repairs would havebeen very impractical. It was only logical that we replace the dryer as well.

We purchased both the dryer and washer back in August after our washer gave up the ghost. The dryer is extremely efficient in drying the clothes. I do have to add that part of that reason is the new washer as well. If the spin cycle was not as effective as this one the drying would take much longer. Also there is very little lint in the vent, again this shows how gentle the washer is. The machine was very easy to adjust to and as with anything you have your go to cycles and use those the lion’s share of the time. All this being said I really like this pair and would recommend. But with tongue in cheek I think most new washers and dryers would perform as well. I based my purchase on consumer reviews alone and not Consumer Report. The ones that had the best ratings had the poorest customers reviews by far.

After loving my LG washer, I purchased this dryer..and am very disappointed. There is little flexibility in the sensor settings and the delicate cycle has a 'low' temperature setting. Since almost everything sold these days give instructions to dry on 'low' now I either have to do a timed dry and keep checking or dry on delicate if I want the automatic shut off when dry. It is definitely a basic dryer. I never dreamed that the settings would be so limited on sensor dry! Now I am stuck!

The Wrinkle Care setting is fantastic for keeping everything looking fresh! Super Quiet I was surprised at how quiet this dryer is, even on the high heat cycles. It runs so smoothly that I barely notice it, which is great since my laundry room is next to the kitchen. Sleek and Stylish Not only does this dryer perform well, but it also looks great. The design is modern and sleek, and it fits perfectly into my laundry space. It’s a stylish addition to my home! Minor Cons The only downside I’ve noticed is that it doesn’t have Wi-Fi connectivity, which isn’t a big deal for me, but it’s something to consider if you’re looking for those smart features and newer models do have it. Other than that, no complaints! If you're looking for a reliable, efficient, and large-capacity dryer, this LG model is definitely worth the investment. I’ve been super happy with it and wouldn’t trade it for anything!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a few months ago when my other LG finally stopped working. Being very impressed with the prior unit, I wanted to get another dryer from the same company. Simple but good. It fits my family’s needs.

Delicate cycle has not worked properly since I bought it. Had 2 parts replaced from repair dept with same result. LG tech tried to tell me that I was using the settings wrong. I am not. I select the delicate cycle and clothes are not fully dry. I select the delicate cycle and choose "more dry" and the clothes are not fully dry. I select the delicate cycle and select "very dry" and the clothes are not fully dry. I use the delicate cycle for fabrics that recommend it, not heavy clothing. I don't overload the machine, although it is an Ultra Large Capacity dryer.I bought this machine because of LG's "sensor dry" technology but it has yet to work as advertised. I just want a machine that actually does what LG says it's supposed to do.

I thought this would be the dryer I love for a long time; However, after using the dryer for a year there are a few issues I am not happy with. First- no matter the size of the load the door seal fails and crap gets stuck on it and then water drips from the bottom front and it is leaving a water mark on the pedestal handle groove. Second- the lint catcher fails to capture all lint resulting in the machine needing a deep clean at least once every 6 months. The machine could use a light on the inside.

Just purchased this unit. Decided to go with LG as a quality brand name. A little disappointed with a few aspects (maybe it's this model level) - there is no interior light; there is no last memory setting when the unit is turned back on (ie - always goes back to the sensory setting when we choose not to use this setting) and lastly it was a bit awkward attaching the dryer vent hose, as the the rear side of the dryer extends out so when we tried to tighten the clamp ring of the hose to the exhaust port, it was a little challenging due to the available angle to turn the screw on the clamp. These are comparisons to our prior dryer which was a Samsung. Bottom line is, would not have purchased this model if we knew there was no interior light. Will now see if if the overall quality of the brand name prevails.

Make sure you pay for a "Licensed LG Tech" to check your unit for possible wearble parts even if you're capable and trained to work on the most advanced Automotibles. LGs Parts warranty only covers you if you pay them for the disassembly, because if you do it, it's tampering. How could a drum, with 4 good support rollers, crack ? Cheap, low quailty materials. It's OK though, they'll try and bribe you with a massive 10% off a new purchase. Get bent. You owe me a drum, send me a drum.
