However, it would be nice if I could figure out how to get the Wrinkle Care to work! I have never had to extend dry time to get cothes completely dry, no matter what kind of things go in it. Very reliable!

I had to play around with different dryer settings and found that quick dry doesn’t dry many items of clothing. Needed to use normal or towel setting to ensure clothes fully came out dry. Otherwise, I am happy with the features of the dryer and cleaning the lint tray is simple.

I ignored everyone's feedback about how bad this LG front loader dryer is after purchase. It has an airflow sensor which is malfunctioning; just like everyone said. I have hired a technician to look at the dryer to insure that the exhaust hose is straight and without a kink. We have also had the exhaust to the outside cleaned and inspected. Just like everyone says this dryer's air flow sensor malfunctions. The new LG dryer replaces a former LG dryer with which we had no problems with the same air flow discharge setup. Our old LG dryer work for 15 years with the air flow discharge system that we have. The greatest advice that you will receive here is not to buy this dryer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this dryer due to the superior rating on Consumer Reports. As a matter of fact, LG held the top 11 spots. We were replacing a 4 1/2 year old Maytag. This dryer is superior in it's drying ability. It dries much faster then what we had before shaving 30 minutes off the dry time. We do a lot of laundry and happy it's reliable and finishes every load with a little happy jingle to let us know it's done. If there were any suggestions, I could only say, it would be nice to have a steam refresh feature for those occasions where you leave something in the dryer too long and the clothes become wrinkled. Overall, this is a win!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this when my current dryer died. It has great capacity, and the sensors keep it from over drying your clothes. I will say don’t forget to wipe the lint filter after each use- even if you don’t see the smallest amount of lint it will turn off after a few minutes. The sensors are extremely sensitive. Very happy with this purchase.

It's easy to use, has a very pleasant end of cycle sound (no loud buzzing like most other dryers), and has a totally flat top which is great as a "folding station".

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When we upgraded to the LG equipment, I expected to have an easier time doing laundry because the machine would keep the settings I use rather than being limited to preset selections. I always read the directions on our clothes and many of the permanent-press ones say to dry them on low. But the perm press setting on the dryer will not allow me to choose that temperature so I have to choose between the perm press machine-determined choice of “warm” or manual setting for the dryer so I can set the temperature myself. I might as well have one of the less expensive machines where I am able to control each setting. Also, even though I choose “very dry,” shirt collars, waistbands, pockets, cloth around the elastic on fitted sheets, etc. are still wet when the dryer decides it’s done enough. I have some clothes made of bamboo and I have to use the manual setting to get them dry. I believe that whoever made these decisions tested loads of laundry that were all the same and not mixed items as is usual when doing family laundry. For instance, when I wash a load of towels, the dryer does a good job drying them as they are all the same material. I also do not like that I’m told in the manual to go on the Internet for complete explanations of what the machine does. There should at least be a sentence about each setting in the manual that would give me a general idea of whether or not I want to look it up for further information.

My previous dryer and this one are both LG brands. Due to the way brand lasts years. Before, you need to do any kind of maintenance. My only complaint on my new dryer. Is that I would prefer for my clothes to come out of the dryer hotter. This new one no matter what setting . You set it to, to get the clothes hotter. Just, won't let you. I can only assume it's a safety issue.
