[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month as my other w/d set finally packed it in after 13 years of faithful service. This dryer is roomy and quite quiet. It does have some troubling it seems trembling such that the cloths properly mix so sensors can read it dry. I've had to mixed them by hand otherwise items are damp while others are dry.

Review of Consumer Reports showed this dryer rated pretty high and LG as a brand was the obvious leader for dryers. After several uses, we love the new dryer! It has larger capacity and dries clothes very well. The wrinkle free option is really great. Feel confident I made the right choice and got a top notch product at a fairly reasonable price.

Bought the washer and the dryer on Black Friday and got a screaming deal. Very impressed with how quiet both are. Cleaning and drying capability is also great. Both are built and designed with high quality. Packaging was pretty good but definitely following the handling instructions since the teenagers that loaded it in my truck dented one side of the dryer. I would highly recommend if you're looking for a reliable, simple, and elegant washer and dryer.

On perma press cycle, clothes don't completely cool before the dryer stops. The dry signal is hard to hear, so it's hard to remove the clothing from the dryer immediately after dryer cycle is finished to prevent wrinkles. The warm clothes then sit still for 4 minutes. The Wrinkle Care setting then engages, but revolves only 7 times before it stops. Then the clothes sit another 4 minutes before revolving a few times. At this point, the clothes are wrinkled enough that I need to start another dry cycle to get the clothes warm again and run for 5 more minutes to remove the wrinkles. The Wrinkle Care will run for up to 3 hours, but it is nothing like the wrinkle guard feature I've had on other dryers. On this dryer, the clothes mostly just sit still with a few token revolutions now and then. The still-warm clothing gets wrinkled in the first 4 minutes of sitting still after the perma press cycle stops, and they're going to stay wrinkled. Good/bad: bed sheets dry completely and quickly on bedding setting, but the sensor doesn't sense they are dry. The dryer will keep going long after they're dry. Good points: A low heat setting that effectively dries but at a gentle heat. Towels dry quickly and completely without overdrying.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When we upgraded to the LG equipment, I expected to have an easier time doing laundry because the machine would keep the settings I use rather than being limited to preset selections. I always read the directions on our clothes and many of the permanent-press ones say to dry them on low. But the perm press setting on the dryer will not allow me to choose that temperature so I have to choose between the perm press machine-determined choice of “warm” or manual setting for the dryer so I can set the temperature myself. I might as well have one of the less expensive machines where I am able to control each setting. Also, even though I choose “very dry,” shirt collars, waistbands, pockets, cloth around the elastic on fitted sheets, etc. are still wet when the dryer decides it’s done enough. I have some clothes made of bamboo and I have to use the manual setting to get them dry. I believe that whoever made these decisions tested loads of laundry that were all the same and not mixed items as is usual when doing family laundry. For instance, when I wash a load of towels, the dryer does a good job drying them as they are all the same material. I also do not like that I’m told in the manual to go on the Internet for complete explanations of what the machine does. There should at least be a sentence about each setting in the manual that would give me a general idea of whether or not I want to look it up for further information.

One can quickly use the lighted panel to see how much time is needed or has passed as items are being dried. Great choice also about which direction door opening.

We purchased our LG dryer 3 weeks ago. It seems much more efficient than our last dryer and more sturdy. The install was seamless with a lot of care taken by the installer. We are very pleased with the results of a shorter dry time and less wrinkling.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this dryer for about 6 weeks now and love the way it is drying clothes. I pretty much use the auto functions so I have to check to see when the clothes are dry - when the cycle is done. It monitors the dryness and extends the time when needed - love this. there is a "wrinkle guard" option which I have not figured out how to use, but I'll get there! It supposedly keeps periodically rotating the clothes if you don't get to the dryer right a t cycle end.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i bought a LG washer and dryer because of issues with Kenmore availability. i have always been a Kenmore customer but no more these LG products are great. Their noise level is low, they wash and dry much quicker and they ate a breeze to use. they have all the cycles i need to take care of our clothing. i am so flad i read reviews and listened to others who bought these products.
