The dryer does it’s job well. However, we didn’t realize there isn’t a light on the inside when you open the door. Very hard to see if you have removed all of the clothes. I seriously wouldn’t have bought this without a light. I assumed all dryers had one as our old one was 11 years old and had one. Would recommend this if you are ok with no light.

I can't wait to tell my friends WHY I bought this specific dryer (whether they ask or not, LOL). It had been a long time since I needed a new dryer. Knowing I needed a new dryer I started researching quality dryers and asking friends what dryer they have and do they like it. After much research (Consumer Reports, reviews, and visiting stores to see a variety of dryers) I decided on this LG dryer. It does not have ALL the bells and whistles as some I saw on some of the dryers. I didn't NEED all the bells and whistles. THIS dryer has just enough for what I need for two people and occasional guests. It is easy to use. It is quiet... so quiet. It has a bigger drum than my replacement dryer. I am so happy with my new LG dryer and highly recommend it for any size family.

It took some time to figure out how to use because this one has more controls and button compared to the old one. It did not come with instructions on the use of all the buttons and controls. The manual said to look it up online I have finally figured out how to work it..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our old dryer lasted 15 years before saying goodbye. We wanted something similar and this LG had it. We needed a large capacity and at 7.4 we have it. The sensor drying mode is fantastic. Dries the clothes perfectly. There are newer features that we are getting used to like the different settings for different types of clothes (delicates, towels, bedding,etc) that we thought weren’t useful, but now understand that those modes not only dry better but saves clothing and bedding.

I was a little upset at first, the dryer kept shutting off every 3 minutes. After talking to LG and going over the error code the machine was giving me it was determined my vent from the ceiling to the outside vent was clogged ( of course this would have been a fire hazard). My old dryer never would have notified me. Thankfully my son was able to remove screen on roof and unclog the vent. No problem or error code since. Love the dryer!

I wasn't sure about the dials being on the front of the machine as opposed to the back, but I find this very easy to see without reaching! I also love the Lint screen as it is very easy to remove to clean. Now I have both the LG washer and Dryer.

The large capacity easily dries my larger comforters that previously needed a commercial dryer to accommodate. This was highly rated by my online research and it does not disappoint!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Glad they gave me 30 days before asking for a review. This Machine makes it FUN to do the laundry keep giving it info about what is in the load and it does all the timing for you never over cooks your cloths as our old dryer did .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought about a month ago and am very happy with the performance. We added a side venting system so it fits exactly where I wanted it. The king trap is inside the door so no need cleaning it. Would highly recommend.
