I bought this last June and drum already cracked. Submitted a claim and had to send what the problem was and send pictures. Local guy came to fix it and was unaware what the problem was when he got here so had to order the part. I am happy they replaced the part but it was kind of a hassle.

I was a little upset at first, the dryer kept shutting off every 3 minutes. After talking to LG and going over the error code the machine was giving me it was determined my vent from the ceiling to the outside vent was clogged ( of course this would have been a fire hazard). My old dryer never would have notified me. Thankfully my son was able to remove screen on roof and unclog the vent. No problem or error code since. Love the dryer!

I bought this about a month ago to replace my old washer of 14 years. Things have changed in that time! It has taken a little experimenting to figure out all the available options to wash (some I have yet to figure out). I wish the manual offered more detail in all the settings/options. It spins great and is quiet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this dryer for about 6 weeks now and love the way it is drying clothes. I pretty much use the auto functions so I have to check to see when the clothes are dry - when the cycle is done. It monitors the dryness and extends the time when needed - love this. there is a "wrinkle guard" option which I have not figured out how to use, but I'll get there! It supposedly keeps periodically rotating the clothes if you don't get to the dryer right a t cycle end.

I like the features of the dryer and have been using it for a few weeks. The flow sensor feature seems very sensitive and I’m still figuring it out . It seems to come at the end of the cycle when the filter is pretty covered but the manual says it is for too long a duct system, a twist in the duct or a clogged duct line . I’ve cleaned the ducts and pulled the dryer out from wall to remove twist. The sensor seems to be hit or miss for coming on or not. I’m still problem solving. Other than this feature I’m very pleased with the dryer for it’s functionality and ease of use.

The other one worked well for many years, and I got another to replace it a few weeks ago. This was top rated by consumer reports, and that also led to my decision to buy another one again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a new dryer because my old one was 23 years old and I wanted something more energy efficient. I have had it for a couple weeks now. Still getting used to it and trying to figure out which cycles work best for me. It is very quiet. Delivery and installation was a breeze. This model had a good rating with consumer reports magazine, a main reason I chose this one, plus I needed a dryer that would fit in a limited space. Like I said, I haven't had it very long, so still trying to find the right cycle that works for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dryer works, and given a little more time to work with it and figure out some of the idiosyncrasies, I'll probably give it a better review. However, the electronics are not intuitive, and so it's going to be a longer learning curve. They could have made it simpler to operate.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I dont like the lint holder and it will eventual cause the dryer to quit working because it isnt getting proper air flow. It gets cleaned everytime with a lint dryer brush but it seems that i should be vacuuming it everytime instead to get everything. Hope I am wrong. I do like the size and the options for drying.
