I order the unit I did because I was replacing another LG dryer that was about 9 years old and I wanted a close match, its not exact but as close as available.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dryer on May 17th after moving into a home I had purchased. I had many loads of laundry to do. I found this dryer extremely quiet and efficient, and the settings, per type of item, are easy to configure.

I bought this about a month ago to replace my old washer of 14 years. Things have changed in that time! It has taken a little experimenting to figure out all the available options to wash (some I have yet to figure out). I wish the manual offered more detail in all the settings/options. It spins great and is quiet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Watering Instructions Watering instructions for your new sod <<< Avoid walking on the sod for the first two weeks as it can cause damage to the roots >>> ​ Day 1 - Plan Ahead, Avoid Walking on Sod : On day one of installation, our installers are willing and able to setup your system to begin watering immediately after laying the sod. If you do not have irrigation in place, plan to have at least one hose and sprinkler left out near your watering spigot. If the area is large, you can setup multiple hoses and sprinklers to one spigot using Y adapters to broaden the area to be watered without having to move the hose and sprinkler around to each area. You can also find watering timers at local hardware stores which allow the capability to program on/off times if you cannot make it home throughout the day. Try to avoid walking on the sod for the first two weeks as it can cause damage to the roots as they attempt to reach into the soil below. ​ The first two weeks : For temperatures below 80˚ F, we recommend watering 2x per day, early morning and late afternoon for approximately 25 minutes on each area, per cycle. For temperatures above 80˚ F, we recommend watering 3x per day, early morning, afternoon, and evening for approximately 25 minutes on each area, per cycle. When to Mow? : After the first two weeks of initial watering, you can shut down your system and/or stop watering for 1-2 days or until the soil beneath the grass has hardened and no longer feels spongy. For the first mow we recommend mowing your new sod with your mower on its highest setting to prevent damage. After the initial mow, a height of 4" is recommended. ​Its working great - - I love it!

Bought about 3 weeks ago and very happy with my new dryer.. seems to dry the laundry quicker, so I am thinking much more efficient that our old dryer.. only downside, NO light inside the dryer.. wish I knew that before the purchase, but for the price, the dryer was a bargain..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this dryer in December 2022 with an estimated delivery date just days later. My credit card was charged in December but my dryer was not delivered until 2 months later in February. The warranty is effective on date of purchase, not install, so I have lost 2 months of warranty. LG will not extend the warranty unless I purchase an extended warranty. The dryer is very basic and works well if you don't use the energy saving feature. Clothes remain damp and must be cycled multiple times if using the energy saving feature. Very little lint is produced in comparison to my previous dryer. The dryer has no internal light and no drying rack. My customer service experience was horrible.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced a 30 year old GE dryer with the LG. It is easy to use, dries everything, quiet and above all our LG washing machine is happy to have it next to it. Seriously we are happy with our purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this as a mate to the washer so I could stack them in a closet. Very pleased with this except some times it does not dry the clothes enough - but - it could be me not getting the proper setting yet. I have only had this for a few weeks. I do not think the stacking piece is strong enough though but it is OK. The electrical cord should be a little longer also because due to this being stacked the outlet had to be moved up a little. All in all this is a good quality dryer - and an energy star product!

LG dryers were top rated by Consumer Reports It is extremely energy efficient and simple to use for a variety of needs

Used the machine now for about 2 months. Relatively easy to navigate the controls. Still learning how to get items completely dry. A few dislikes: NO Light! Very dark inside.This new machine replaced a dryer from the 1980s...It had a light! Dryer sheets get hung-up/stuck between the drum and the inside of the machine. And they are stuck. Takes some effort to get them out. But like the tune it plays when it finishes.
